(Karis's pov)

Xander was out all afternoon and finally arrived in the evening looking very worn out.

My eyes were drawn from my tablet where I was working on some drawings I scanned to my tablet to enhance it with colouring to the door that creaked open.

Xander took a Key card the last time he left, so there was no need for him to knock. The door beeped open and his tall figure stepped in.

"Welcome back, how was the meeting? You look like shit right now." I chimed seeing how he appeared. He was super tired. It made me wonder what the meeting was about.

"The meeting was okay just that I ran into someone annoying." Xander sighed. Pulling off his jacket, he tossed it on a seat before walking to an ice bucket where a bottle of wine was.

"Someone annoys you? So I am not the only one who can piss you off." I chuckled at Xander and he just rolled his eyes.
