“I need you to call Mika now,” Lucian told one of his men as soon as they reached the mansion.

Carrying his unconscious wife, he walked upstairs and went inside her bedroom to put her on the bed. Emily looked so weak, and pale, and the bruises in her wrists as if something had burned her were visible. Lucian had a lot of questions in his mind, one of which was the giant black wolf he encountered near the cliff.

‘Was it really her?’ he thought.

‘It was her,’ Argus answered his confusion. ‘She has a blood of an Alpha wolf.’

“How is that possible?” Lucian murmured, swallowing hard as he continued to look at his wife. ‘You didn’t recognize her while she was on that form.’

‘No, I didn’t. Her aura screamed power. What I felt was rage. She was enraged. But now that she looks normal, I can feel the mate bond.’
