SERA.

“Wake up Sera.” A familiar voice whispered into my ears, and I jerked awake with a slight groan.

“I want to sleep more.” I pouted out like a baby.

“Not right now. The fate of the world rests on your shoulders, it time to stand up and fight.” Magna said, tapping her staff on the wooden bed.

I stretched out lazily, and stood up from the bed. “What are we doing today?.”

“Today we will practice everything you have learnt before and see how well you have improved.” Magna said, walking to the door. “I should be expecting you in few minutes.”

The door was shut behind her. I sighed deeply, my body aches from the intense practice we have been doing and I wanted to cry out that I need a break to rest but whenever I remember that so many lives depends on me, I shoved it at the back of my head.

In few minutes, I was ready and waiting at the second chamber— the pool of reflection. I was sitting beside the pool, peering into the waters, I could see my reflection on the surface but

SERA. “What’s next?.” I asked Magna, my body screaming for more discoveries. I already know how to control fire, dictate sounds, monitor reflections and most especially heal. Now I am craving to find out more about myself I never knew was hidden away in me. It’s time to take over the world. “One at a time.” Magna adviced, we were out of the pool of reflection chamber and wandering into other chambers. “I have learnt the basics right?.” I asked her with a cheeky smile. “Yes you have.” She replied, her eyes wandering inside other chambers. “So what’s next?”“You need to learn how to use your powers very well.” She paused at a door, her hands on the doorknob and she clicked the door open. “Wow!!.” I exclaimed, eyes widened in surprise. The door had a wide green field in it, the air was fresh and enriching, the atmosphere was bright . I walked in before Magna, spinning around the beauty of nature, tall trees stood around, birds flying high and free. I never expected this

KAEL. “Show me what you got .” The ancient guard swinged his staff at my face, and I lunged at him almost immediately. He dodged every single strike, countering it with his staff and managed to hit me at the back of my head. “That hurts as hell.” I yelled out in pain. It felt like my brain cells were rearranged. “Sorry kid, you have to increase in your speed and agility. If you were in a battle zone, you won’t stop and yell to your enemy that the strike hurts as hell. It was meant to hurt you.” He said with a smile. “Well when I get to battle field, I won’t let them get a single hit.” I said out loud, massaging the back of my head. “Then show me how you are going to do it.” He growled and charged at me, with brutal force, each strike launched at me was meant to inflict pain— that was the goal , but I won’t let him hurt me again. I made a counterattack on him, dodging every Arike smoothly and attacking back with the same energy. I noticed one thing, he was fighting with on

“Welcome aboard.” She said with a proud smile etched on her face. The lady was dressed in a black overalls and a black mask, only her mouth and eyes were visible. Her lips were smeared in red lipstick but it glowed like blood. Her green orbs glowed brightly. Elias’ lips twitched up in a smile , “thank you. It’s my pleasure to be here.” “Have a seat.” She gestured at them, behind them three seats were already placed by the Voltraks, who were moving around like they were under a spell. They sat down quietly, eyes fully focused on her. “What do I owe this visit?.” She asked, that captivating smile never left her lips. “An alliance I offer to you Milady.” Elias spoke up with a calm and blank expression. “Hmm.” She narrowed her eyes at him, intrigued by his offer. “What kind of alliance?.” “I wish to join you in this battle and help you fight your enemies.” Elias answered with a sinister smile, his eyes watching her every move and facial reactions. “What do you get in retur

“Thanks for dinner mum.” Elias said, his voice calm and appreciative. He had actually stayed for lunch and dinner which surprised his mom. His grandma practically ignored him, acting like he didn’t exist in the room. He acted likewise, he had successfully retrieved the footage and sent it to Ryan to investigate. Right now his main aim is to get the hell out of the house and dive right into his plan. But unfortunately, his mum was clinging on him like a lost puppy. “You welcome son.” She smiled brightly at him. He wanted to sneer at that pretentious act but he kept in within him. “I will be leaving now, I have some work to do.” He said, standing to his feet. “I thought you are staying over for the night.” Ellen said with a frown etched on her face. “I don’t think you need me around, Kenia is home, she can keep you company.” Elias said, still wondering why he has seen Kenia around since he came in, it was late already and past curfew time. The adaucity. “Kenia is in co

“Hello.”“Is anyone there?.”“Let us out please.” Sera’s dad (Enardo) called out into the darkness a hoarse voice, his throat was dry and cracking. “Where are we?.” Helena(sera’s mum) asked her husband whose hands were tied together with hers at their backs. “How am I supposed to know, we both just woke up now.” He growled but it came out like a whisper. “It’s so dark in here, and it’s smells like damp and dirt. Wait!! We could be in an abandoned warehouse or some dump site or some cave or maybe—-.” “Can you just shut that greasy mouth of yours. It’s making my ears bleed.” He yelled at her and she shut up immediately. “That’s much better.” He sighed out calmly, trying to access the situation, he stretched his legs around but could make out any thing around. It was clear, no boxes or cans, no equipment — nothing, only the choking smell of oil, dirt and —-gasoline. “Oh my goodness, someone is pouring gasoline in the building.” Enardo said in a shaky voice, his body trembling
