Chapter Twenty Nine

Logan did not return home even the next day, and for three days, I was home alone with the staff. Tia became my best friend instantly. We had Logan’s room painted red, and she showed me what the internet was saying about me and Logan and his ex-girlfriends and we laughed about it.

The first day she made her special grape juice, kept on having glass upon glass because of how tasty it was. She said it was her grandmother’s recipes that she has been using as a chef for the two years that she has been working with the D’Nores.

The house cleaner became jealous, but she could not do anything because she knows that Tia has won a place in my heart, and therefore, she cannot do anything to upset me.

That night, in started having nightmares about the horrible images of Samuel’s lifeless murdered body that day.

This is the first time I am having a nightmare about him since he died. I woke up and met total darkness and immediately, fear gripped me. I quickly turned on the lights and grabbed my ni
