Chapter Thirty

I was woken up by Logan’s loud screams.

“How the fuck did this happen?!” he was asking the house cleaner right outside the room.

“It is all her idea, sir…the new ma’am.” The house keeper was trying to explain.

“Who asked her to move into my room?!” He asked her, and I can swear that the house cleaner is almost peeing in her pants, but Logan does not give a damn.

“Miss Leah,” she told him.

Logan gnashed his teeth, “Damn that girl!”

He dismissed her and came back into the room, anger written over his face. If I could do a jolly dance for this victory, I would.

“Good morning,” I greeted Logan, but he ignored me and went straight into the bathroom. Seconds later, he came out angrier than he had gone in, holding a pink container in his hand.

“What the fuck is this, Alice?” Logan asked me.

“You did not respond when I first spoke to you, so why should I answer your question?” I said.
