Ch. 143 - A Stiff Drink

I drank my iced tea by the bay window in my kitchen, smiling like a fool at the happiness swirling inside me. I had a moment of reprieve as my Alphas prepared a new room for us to stay in. We knew we couldn't return to the North until we removed Dietus, so we would remain here in the South for a while.

I had already told them I wanted to split our time evenly between both of our homes. Our son will know all of his past and all that he will one day rule over. I never thought I would agree to one Alpha to lead every part of the world, but now, I knew it was our duty. This world needed so much repair, and the brothers and I had the power to fix it all. There would be no slavery, abuse, or darkness in our future.
