Alex sat beside her on the bed and handed her the ointment. "Sorry again," Anastasia grasped the tube from him and told him to move his t-shirt up. Alex removed the t-shirt which bewildered Anastasia. 

"Why did you remove it? You only need to-" she paused as she was shocked to see the large bruises on his back. She felt guilty for acting that way. 

"Complete your words," Alex stated as he tilted his head back. 

Anastasia opened the cap of the tube and took the ointment on her finger. She pressed her finger gently on the middle of his back over the scratch mark. Alex felt a tingling sensation as Anastasia's finger moved over his skin. She applied the ointment quickly on his back and told Alex to turn back. He did so.
