I looked up at him and stared for a moment. There was no joke or any hint of amusement and mocking on his face.
Is he serious?
“A-antheia?” I asked, repeating what the Alpha had said.
“Yes… Antheia… do you like it?” the Alpha asked in return, turning to look at me, towering over my petite figure compared to his tall built, blocking the light of the sun behind him, and making himself look as if he was an angel from above but with a features of a deadly devil from below.
For a moment, I was lost in awe at him that I had myself unconsciously nodding in approval at the word he named me.
