Chapter Fifty Two

Christopher was the first to wake up. He woke up to the feel of a soft body pressed against his. Their legs were entangled together and his hand was around her waist. He opened his eyes and a smile bloomed on his face. 'This is the best morning of my life!' He said in his heart. He wanted to remain like that for the whole day but, had made plans and he needed to get out of bed if he wants to accomplish those plans. He gently lifted his hand from her waist and slowly freed himself from Rose who was still sleeping peacefully. He was about to get out of bed when Rose started frowning her face. He hurriedly took a pillow and put it between her arms and immediately, her expression became relaxed. He smiled at that and went into the bathroom to clean up. He did it as fast as possible and then walked quietly out of the room. He didn't want to wake Rose up and he knew she was an early bird so when he got out he rushed down the stairs and into the kitchen. He wanted to make breakfast for his family and serve them in bed.

He got to the kitchen and took out some eggs, tomatoes, onions, and all the things he would need to make an egg sauce. In less than 30 minutes, had everything ready and served in two portions. He took the small one first and walked to Princess's room. When he opened the door, princess was still sleeping. He placed the food beside her bedside table and pecked her forehead. "Wake up my princess!!" He said and shook her gently. Princess stirred and went back to sleep. He smiled at her reaction and tried again. "If my princess doesn't wake up then this king will leave her room with what he brought!" He said.

That aroused Princess and she hugged his neck and said. "Good morning daddy?"

"Good morning my princess, how was your night!?" Christopher asked as he hugged her back. He has always wanted to have this feeling ever since he found out about Princess's existence years ago but due to the things he was doing, he had to stay away from them.

"It was fine but, hmmm... What's smelling so nice?!" Princess asked as she sniffed the air.

Christopher got up from her bed and pointed at the tray he placed on her bedside table. "Daddy made you breakfast. Go and wash your mouth and then eat it. I made this for my Princess." He said.

"Wow!! This is great. I get to have breakfast in bed!!" Princess shouted happily and got out of bed. "Thank you so much, daddy!!" She said and hugged his legs.

"Anything for you my Princess," Christopher answered. "Now, hurry up and eat before your tea gets cold. I need to take your mom's breakfast to her before she wakes up." Christopher added with a smile.

"Wow!!!" Princess exclaimed. "Good job dad, hurry up before mom wakes up.!" Princess said with a thumbs up. "Don't worry, I will not disturb the two of you. When you guys are done, I will be with Mrs. Rita." Princess added with a Smirk.

Christopher shook his head at her drama and walked out of her room. He rushed to the kitchen and took the other tray. When he got up the stairs, he took a deep breath before opening the door. He walked in and found the bed empty. Rose had woken up before he got there. He placed the tray on the table in between the chairs that were in the room and waited for her to come out of the bathroom because he had the sound of running water. He was waiting patiently for Rose to come out of the bathroom and when she did, he lost his power of speech. Rose walked out clad in a towel that barely covered her. She was humming and didn't notice him instantly. She just walked directly into the closest and didn't notice Christopher who was following her with his eyes as she swayed her hips. 'Damm...' He cursed and ran his hands through his hair when she closed the door behind her. 'This is going to be one hell of a wait!' He mumbled under his breath and ran into the bathroom for a cold shower.

When Rose woke up, the space beside her was empty. She pushed away from the pillow she was hugging and giggled. She stretched her hands and got up. She was feeling very happy for reasons she couldn't understand. She guessed Christopher might be out so since it was almost 8 in the morning. She went into the bathroom to get freshened up and all the while she was humming a tune known to only her. She came out of the bathroom still humming and walked into the closet. She picked a simple bump short and blacktop since it was a Saturday and it's officially clean-up day. She got dressed, walked out and that was when she saw the food on the table.

She walked closer to it and that was when she smelled the aroma. "Hmmm, this smells lovely!" She said as she used her hand to fan the vapor to her face.

"I made that just for you,"

"Jesus Christ!!!" Rose jumped to face Christopher who had just walked out of the bathroom. "What?... Wow!!" She said as she looked at him from head to toes. "Why must you look so good?" She asked while still looking at him appreciatively.

"I could take off the towel you know?" Christopher said with a smirk on his face and his hand holding the towel.

"Why?? I mean, what?" Rose who had been staring at him tried to form a meaningful sentence. "I mean, what are you talking about?" She managed to ask.

"Since you are checking me out, I wanted to give you the full view."

"When was I checking you out? What's even there to check out sef?" Rose asked while trying desperately to take her eyes off his naked upper body.

"There is nothing there and that's why I want to take off the towel. What's there?" Christopher said loosening the towel slowly.

Rose wanted to stop him but another part of her wanted to see all that Is to see. She didn't say a word and watched as Christopher took off the towel. Her body was excited but she was disappointed when she saw he was putting on boxers underneath. The disappointment on Rose's face was obvious but she tried to mask It by asking, "what was that for?"

"What was what for?" Christopher asked with a smirk. "I am taking off my towel so that I can get dressed. Is there a problem with that? Or, were you expecting something else?" He asked her.

"Stop talking nonsense! What am I supposed to expect!?" Rose said. She was looking for all possible means to escape the conversation and that was when she remembered the food. "My food is getting cold. I need to eat." She said and took a seat.

"Enjoy your food while I get dressed. I will be out shortly." Christopher said and walked into the closet.

When he left, Rose was still shy over what happened earlier. How she was waiting for him to get naked in front of her. 'What has come over you Rose?' She scolded herself. She was still scolding herself when Christopher came back out dressed in blue shorts and blacktop that matched Rose's dressing. "Why have we dressed alike?" She asked when he sat across from her.

"Today is our first family weekend together and when it's the weekend, we do things together. How is the food?" He asked her.

"I have not touched the food. I was waiting for you." Rose lied. "What do you mean by we do things together?" She asked and started to make the tea. Christopher had prepared egg sauce with bread and tea.

"It's as simple as it sounds! We do things together. You have chosen our outfit for the morning and once we are done here I will go to Princess and dress her up." Christopher said.

"Oh, I didn't know there was such a rule. After eating I am cleaning the house. Will you do that as well?" Rose asked him.

"Yes of course!! That's the beginning of today." Christopher answered with a smile. "After the clean-up, we get dressed cause I am taking you and Princess out for a day with daddy..." He added.

"Hmm, a day with daddy?" Rose said. "That should be for princess alone. You are not my daddy.." She added.

Christopher took a piece of bread from the plate and said. "That's where you are wrong. A day with daddy means, as the father of the house, I get to take you and our daughter out and I pay for whatever expensed that we make for that day." He explained as he ate. "If it's a day with mommy then, you take care of everything." He added.

"That sounds interesting. I can even buy a car and you get to pay?" Rose asked as she also started to eat.

"Yes, anything at all but, don't forget that it will be your turn one day and you will also pay for whatever I want." He answered.

"Hmmm, that ok. I like the idea of that. Now am even curious to see what you have installed for us." Rose said.

"You'll enjoy it. That I am sure of." Christopher answered with certainty.

"If you say so then we need to be quick. The day is going." Rose added and continued to eat. She was excited to know what he had planned out.
