Chapter Fifty One

"Oga!!! Oga!!" The loud banging on his car pulled him back to the present. He opened his eyes and found his driver whom he had left behind banging on his window. He rolled down the glass and barked at the driver, "what is it!!"

"Sorry sir," the driver said shakily. "I thought something had happened when I saw you parked by the side of the road."

"What did you think happened to your father!?" He said angrily. "What are you even doing here?? You are fired!! I don't want to set my eyes on you again!!" He said and drove off. He had not driven far when a call entered his phone. He picked up without looking at the caller ID "what is it?" He asked.

"Stop raising your voice at me!!" The caller said angrily. "What have you done about your son?"

"Why are you calling? We agreed on two weeks and besides, everything is wrong here! I am losing every hold I have now!" Mr. Allen said to the caller who happens to be none other than Coker. Cindy's father.

"What nonsense are you sprouting?? I asked you about what you have done concerning your son and you are talking nonsense." Mr. Coker said.

"That's the point. Christopher knows about Bridget's will. I don't know how he did it but, he found out!" Mr. Allen said.

"How can he find out? I thought you had it all destroyed. How is this now coming out now of all times?" Mr. Coker shouted over the phone.

"Stop raising your voice at me!!" Mr. Allen reprimanded him. "If he finds out what really happened to his mother then, I am doomed! You should have seen his eyes when he was threatening me. He looks just like his mother that I even got scared." He added. His hands began to shake due to the emotions surging through him so he found a small bar and parked there.

"How Is he able to do that? I thought you have him under watch!" Mr. Coker said.

"That's what I thought but, he is just as cunning as his mother. Maybe you should just stop these games of yours. It's been years and I think I have helped you out enough." Mr. Allen said tiredly.

"What do you mean by helped me out enough!? The only person helping out here is me!! Do you want me to go to your son and tell him what I know?" Cindy's father threatened.

"Go ahead, the person who will lose the most here is you! I have nothing to lose anymore but, can you say that about yourself?" Mr. Allen asked cockily. "You have your whole political career at stake if you breathe a word. I am just a father who is dependent on his son now, I can't be your money bag anymore." Mr. Allen said.

"Listen and listen good. This is just the beginning. You have to do everything possible to get my daughter and your son together! We have come too far to let a girl from nowhere take all that wealth!!" Cindy's father said desperately. "That would be a shame on us both. We have done everything possible to keep the wealth and now, you are willing to let go?"

"You don't know what I saw in my son's eyes and that's why you have the nerves to talk like this. His family is his tail and if I were you, I wouldn't step on that tail. He looked me in the eyes and told me that, if I touch a hair on their heads, he would have me cut off from everything!! Can you believe that!? My own son ooo..." He said beating his chest.

"What if he was only guessing? What if he was pulling your legs and you fell for it?" Cindy's father tried desperately to hold on to straws of hope. "You also said it that he isn't quick-witted. You had him watched when he was outside the country and he has been idle. How then did he manage to do anything?"

"I am as confused as you are. He was only going to school and back home. I also go there to check on him once in a while and he was always going from school to the house." Mr. Allen explained.

"Then, the only solution now is to get him married to my daughter. That's the only way we can still have a little control." Cindy's father said.

"What is that your daughter even good at? She had so many years and she couldn't even get Christopher to look at her. A girl from nowhere manages to trap him with a child and boom!! They are married!!" Mr. Allen said with sarcasm. "Why don't you tell your daughter to do what other ladies her age would do?"

"What do you expect her to do when you who is the father can't even keep your son under a leash?" Cindy's father asked angrily.

"I am his father and she is a woman. They are things and tricks she should do.!" Mr. Allen fired. "Why are you sounding as stupid as your daughter. You were the one who came to me all those years ago and was giving me ideas! Lend some brain to that child of yours. Call me when you have something better to say!!" He fired and ended the call without waiting for a reply. "Foolish father and stupid daughter!!" He cursed and laid his head on the steering. He was thinking of what to do and suddenly an idea popped into his head. He took out his phone and made a call to someone he hasn't called in years.

"Hello, who am I speaking with?" A gruff voice came from the other end.

"It's Allen, I have a new job for you." Mr. Allen answered.

"Today is surely a great day!! You haven't called me in years so, who offended you this time around?" The other person said with a chuckle.

"I want you to take care of someone and you need to do a clean job. Can you do it?"

"I don fall your hand before? I don't disappoint and I always do a clean job that's if the pay is worth it." The other person answered.

"Well let's meet tomorrow and I will give you all the details."

"Yes, boss!!"

"Listen to me stone, this should be top secret! You know what will happen if you talk..." Mr. Allen cautioned.

"Tomorrow.!" Stone said and ended the call.
