"You don't need to get out of bed. I will serve you today. Today is for you.!" Christopher said as he carried her off the bed.

Christopher laughed at what she said and placed her gently on a side bench in the bathroom. He helped her run a bath and then carried her there. "Do you want me to bathe you?" He asked suggestively.

"Why would I be shy!?" Rose asked quickly and averted her gaze from Christopher's.

Christopher watched her acting shy and his body started to react. He shook his head and said. "Okay, I'll leave you to take your bath. Call me when you are done.!" He said and walked out of the bathroom before he would try to take off his clothes and take a bath with her.

Rose allowed her body to soak in the hot water and she could feel all her bone starting to relax. She was in the water till it started to turn cold. She got out of the water and because she was feeling a little bit better, she walked to the room by herself. When she opened the bathroom. Door, Christopher was waiting by the door. "I thought I asked you to call for me when you are done.!" He said and quickly carried her off the floor.

"I can walk..." Rose said but she wasn't trying to get down from his arms. Who doesn't like to be pampered by their loved ones?

"I know you can walk but, I want to carry you. Is it a crime?" Christopher asked and placed a kiss on her forehead.

After helping her to get dressed, he carried her back to the couch In the room and opened the food that he had arranged on the table. While she was eating, she remembered to ask, "what happened last night? You didn't come back home early and you didn't call or pick up my call... I was so scared!!"

When Rose asked that question, his expression darkened a little but when he remembered what happened between him and Rose, he became happy again. "I am sorry to have made you worried. I found out something shocking and it's what I have been scared of. The people my father paid to kill us told me some shocking things yesterday.!" Christopher answered.

"What did they tell you?" Rose asked.

"My fear was confirmed yesterday. My father and Cindy's father killed my mother!" Christopher answered.

Rose dropped the spoon that she was holding and went to sit beside Christopher. "That's... Am sorry to hear such a thing. What do you plan to do?" Rose asked as she hugged him.

"I am confused. I want to do the right thing but, he is still my father. If I don't do anything then I won't be doing justice to my mother. Right now, I don't know what to do..." He answered and inhaled her smell.

"I know you are confused but I trust you will do the right thing. You don't need to rush into making a decision." Rose said and kissed his lips.

"Mmmm, thank you," Christopher said and deepened the kiss. After a while, he pulled away and said. "If we don't stop now then, I might have to make you stay in bed all day long!"

Rose looked away shyly and didn't answer. She could already see his body's reaction. Christopher chuckled at her reaction and rubbed her back as she ate.

They both heard a loud call from outside. Surprise was written on both their faces because none of them was expecting the owner of that voice to be back. "Is he a woman?" Christopher mumbled while Rose just smiled.

The owner of the voice got to their room door and knocked loudly then said, "open this door because I have a surprise for your wife!!"

Christopher and Rose looked at each other for a while before he stood up and went to open the door. Immediately the door opened, a loud thud was heard. Rose who was watching couldn't help but laugh. "This is wickedness.!" Uzo complained as he got off the floor. He wanted to hug Christopher but Christopher moved out of the way before he could touch him.

While Rose was laughing, she heard another laughter from outside the door, she stood up and the person outside walked in. "Hi, sis!!" She greeted.

"Ada!!" Rose called and rushed to hug Ada who came with Christopher.

Uzo walked to Christopher's side and whispered. "I think I deserve a reward for putting a smile on your wife's face."

Christopher looked at him and nodded in approval. "You can take a month off work!" He said.

"Thanks, bro!!" Uzo answered happily.

Rose and Ada pulled out of their hug and Rose said. "Why didn't you call me or tell me you were coming?"

"I wanted to surprise you that's..." Ada was saying but stopped when she saw Rose clutching her stomach. "What is it, sis?" She asked worriedly.

Christopher and Uzo also noticed Rose's expression and rushed to them. "What is wrong with you?" Christopher asked as he held her.

"My... Stomach... It's... Hurting so bad!!" Rose said painfully.

"What..." Uzo was asking but stopped when Rose started to bleed from her nose.

"Get the car ready!!" Christopher shouted as he carried her and rushed out of the room leaving Uzo and Ada to rush after them.
