Chapter Seventy One

They both looked at Princess who had interrupted them and Mrs. Rita who was standing behind Princess with a big smile on her face. Rose was so shy that she didn't know where to hide her face. Christopher on the other hand felt like asking them to go back to where they are coming from. "This is our house and we can do what we like!" Christopher said and pulled Rose closer to his body by her waist.

"Yeah, it's your house but doesn't spoil my eyes!" Princess answered. "Look at what you have caused. You made mommy so shy she is now behaving like a teenager.!" She added.

Her statement only made Rose hide her face the more. She didn't know what to say or what to do. "We should leave your parents alone! I think they want to be left alone!" Mrs. Rita added with a smile.

"Yeah, let us leave them so that they can continue to play their old love. You people should better hurry up and give me a brother!" Princess said and ran away while Mrs. Rita followed behind her with a laugh.

"Can you see what you have caused?" Rose asked and pushed him away from her.

"What!? This is our house and I can kids my wife wherever I want. What's wrong with that? Besides she just told us what she wants!! A little brother!!" Christopher said and raised his brows suggestively.

"Which little brother? In your dreams!" Rose said and tried to run away.

Christopher was having fun watching Rose being shy. After she finished talking, she wanted to run away but, pulled her back into his arms and said. "Let's talk a walk In the garden, please..."

Rose couldn't say no to him when he was pleading with such an expression. "Ok, let's go." She agreed. Christopher held her hand and led her into the compound through the back door.

Mr. Allen was waiting in his house for feedback from Stone and his people. After waiting for hours and he didn't get any feedback from Stone, he was afraid to call. He was scared that something might have gone wrong and he didn't want to call so that he wouldn't implicate himself. After waiting till night and he didn't get any feedback from Stone, he became scared. He started to ask himself questions. What would happen to him if his son gets to find out the things he had done in the past? What if Christopher sends him outside the country just like he threatened and he never gets the opportunity to come back? That would be the worst punishment anyone can ever give to him. He is almost in his sixties and to lose everything he has worked for all his life would like him. To him, he felt it was better to go down with a fight than to go without trying.

Cindy on the other hand was having the worst day of her life. After her she left the mall, she realized that she had just made a fool of herself. "What have I done!? My father would kill me!" She lamented as she sat inside her car. She was still there when she heard taps on her window. When she looked up, it was the reporters that had followed her out.

Because the glass was up, she didn't hear what they were saying but she knew it wasn't good. She was still looking at them as if they were clowns when her phone started to ring. She took a deep breath and looked at the phone. It was her father that was calling. She didn't dare to pick up the call. She just watched it until it stopped ringing. Before the phone's screen could become dark, it started to ring again. She watched it ring and stop then start again. She was so scared to pick up the call because she knew her father would be very furious. She picked her phone from the seat where it was and went to her social media handles. Immediately she went online, notifications started to enter. In less than five minutes, she had gotten more than a thousand notifications and messages.

She went to her W******p and saw that her father had dropped a series of messages for her. "What have you done!?" Was the first thing he sent.

"Do you know the impact of your actions!?"

"You better pick up my call before I send somebody to come and bring you down to Abuja!!! Are you mad!? How can you embarrass me like that?"

She read all his messages and was too scared to reply. The only thing she was able to send was, 'I am sorry dad!' After the message was sent and delivered, she went to online check what was happening and almost had a heart attack. Everyone was posting something about her. She was lost in what she was seeing and forgot that she was still at the mall. When she eventually put down her phone and drove out of the parking lot, she had made up her mind to do whatever it takes to get rid of Rose.

When she got home, she called Unknown. The call was connected immediately. "You promised to send me a number and I haven't seen it. Why??" Rose asked.

"Well, I will send it soon. The person that I want to connect you with hasn't answered my call. Once I get in touch with him, I will connect you two." Unknown answered.

"What's going on? Why can't you get in touch with him!? I need to do this as fast as possible.! That stupid Rose has humiliated me to the point of no return!" Cindy said bitterly.

Unknown sneered at the other end of the phone and answered. "I watched the video of what she did to you at the mall!! That was wicked..."

"I will make her regret ever coming into Christopher's life. I want her to pay for taking everything away from me!!" Cindy said.

"That's the spirit. The only way to solve this problem is to get her out of the way. She just came out and took your fiancee from you. I personally think you and Mr. Christopher will make the perfect couple.!" Unknown said trying to cheer Cindy on.

"I am so angry right now.! My father will be so disappointed!! Listen to me. I want to keep an eye on that snake for me. I will pay you handsomely if you can do it well. I need to know what she is doing at all times!" Cindy said.

"Don't worry. I will do my best. Just make sure that you don't give her the chance to think she has won!! You need to keep showing her that you are not giving up!!" Unknown said to Cindy. She wants Cindy to continue doing the wrong things till she damages her image.

"I won't even give her that chance but, I need to lay low for a while. I can't take any decisions in haste for now. If I create another scene like this one again then, my father will be more than furious!!" Cindy said. She just realized that what she did was very bad but she didn't plan to stop. If there is any way to make it up to her father then, it will be to get married to Christopher. Initially, she wanted to get married to him just to have access to half the wealth her mother left behind but, who would have guessed that Christopher's wealth exceeds ten times what his mother left behind. If she wants to continue getting the love of her father then, she needs to get Christopher by any means.

"I have an idea that might work!" Unknown said after listening to what Cindy had said.

"Please, don't advise me to go to the mall again. You gave me this idea that is causing all these troubles. You suggested that I go there and demand to have a face-to-face talk but what did it lead to?" Cindy said.

"You didn't do it well! I asked you to expose her... I was expecting you to go there and tell media that she came in between your relationship with Mr. Christopher and not to create such a scene!!" Unknown said.

"So, what is your next brilliant idea?" Cindy asked.

"Well, it's simple!! You are the daughter of the Vice President and your father has a lot of influence in the country. Why don't you use that advantage to dig out things that could soil her image?" Unknown suggested.

"What will I find? She is just a nobody and that I am very sure of!!" Cindy said.

"I know she is a nobody but, I know there are things that can be used. I once heard Mr. Allen call her a prostitute! Have you ever wondered why? Don't you find it strange that he will call her such a name?" Unknown said again.

"That's true!! You are absolutely right!! People are calling her good named now but, if I can manage to dig out something bad about her then, I can make people see her true color!" Cindy said happily. She began to feel a little bit better about the whole thing.

"Yes, that will be the best thing to do. You can hire someone to help you do it!!" Unknown suggested.

"Yes!! I have a friend who can do that for me. Thank you so much for this!! This is the first time you will help me without taking any money. That's new!!" Cindy said.

"Yes, I just felt that if things should go well then, you will treat me well. Right!?" Unknown asked.

"Of course!! Let me call a friend of mine who can help me find out anything that can be found!!" Cindy said and hung up the call. "Just enjoy your time while it last Rose!! I will definitely be that last man standing and when that time comes, you will be crushed...I am very sure of that!!" She said to herself.

She was still feeling good about her new plan when her phone started to ring again. She rushed to the phone and when she saw the caller, her smile disappeared instantly.
