My Dad ,His only Child...

My phone rang late into the night, while I was fast asleep. I moaned and groaned before stretching my hand to pick it up from my night stand.

It was about 11pm and I just slept about three hours . The day had me stressed out,so sleeping early was my only option to forget everything.

"Hello....?' I muttered out sleepily into the phone.

"Oh dear, did I wake you up? A very familiar sweet voice said.

I furrowed my eyebrows and squinted at the brightness of my phone screen while I checked the caller ID.

" Oh hello , madam Martha Wellington" I said

" How are you doing honey, how have you been coping?

" I'm pretty much well, thank you. How are you doing yourself, how's your health now? I yawned in between my statements.

Oh dear , it's escaped me of where you are now,I really fogot about the time difference,I didn't mean to disturb your sleep. I'm very sorry,she apologized.
