Chapter seventeen

Flight 24 of the virgin Atlantic airlines now flew at an altitude of 356meters above sea level on route to it’s destination – Abuja. The weather had been associated with storms and a very cloudy atmosphere. The flight was only permitted to leave the airport because it was a local one that could take no longer than an hour at most, to complete.

Nena stared out the window at the clouds as the plane managed it’s way out of a series of very violent turbulences. The experience had been terrifying, although this wasn’t her first time experiencing such a turbulent flight but something about this one left her very jittered as she remembered that she had so much to live for and this was not the right time to die in a plane crash. 

The flight had become stable for a while now and rays of sunshine were seen to be rising , tendering it’s reflections on the surface of the plane’s windows.
