Chapter 9: Doubtful Wife

I wanted to scream, but I wasn't able to. I'm only able to cry. I'm not sure if the letter is true or if the person behind this letter is just trying to destroy us. I'm extremely confused.

“Helena!” She makes a hand gesture in front of my face. I give her a horrible look. “What's the matter? Kanina kapa tulala, ha, kanina pa ako nagsasalita rito hindi ka naman pala nakikinig.”

“Are you interested in my husband?” I addressed her with a blunt question. I'm not in a position to ask her about my husband's infidelity, but I'm curious. I'd like to get to the bottom of things as quickly as possible.

“Ano?” She laughed. “Baliw kaba? Hindi ko type ang asawa mo at mas lalong hindi siya pasok sa standard ko.”

“Sure ka na hindi siya pasok sa standard mo?” Paninigurado ko.

“Helena, alam kong hindi tayo close pero hindi naman ibig sabihin noon pwede ko ng sirain ang buhay mo. Wala akong gusto sa asawa mo, okay?”

“I just want to know the truth.
