AURORA P.O.V
"Aurora!" Quincy, my older sister, called my name. I was inside my bedroom preparing to sleep after returning from the restaurant where I work as a waitress. "Yes, sister," I rushed out of my room to meet her. My sister stood there, towering above me. I wasn't up to her shoulder. I was like the rejected daughter in my family. All my siblings were Beta Wolves, and I was born an Omega. Because of this, my entire family looked down on me. "Where are the jade earrings I kept in my locker? Did you steal them?" Quincy asked, her eyes narrowing at me. Quincy was more favored by our parents. They believe she will become Alpha Xander's mate. After all, she was 20 years old, and I was 17. "I didn't take your earrings. What would I use them for?" I asked, subtly annoyed because she always blamed me first. "We have two maids in this house. Why not ask them first?" I replied bluntly, but she smacked me so hard across my left cheek that my head spun and I almost collapsed to the ground. I staggered backward, staring at her in shock. "Quincy, you slapped me?" I asked, holding my left cheek as tears brimmed in my eyes. "I will slap you again if you don't tell me where you hid my earrings. You know how much I love those jade earrings because Alpha Xander gave them to me last year on my 19th birthday. Did you steal them to wear to his party tonight?" she asked, her tone sharp, anger boiling in her veins. The rest of my family came downstairs into the living room. They obviously treasured Quincy, whom they believed would become the future Luna and bring them blessings. Meanwhile, I was the cursed child. "Quincy, what's going on?" Our mother, Sarah Stanley, asked as she walked into the corridor first to meet us. My father and my older brother trailed behind her. "Mom," Quincy broke down sobbing, as if I had slapped her. "Mom, Aurora stole my jade earring," she cried into our mother's arms. Our mother was an Omega by birth, but she looked down on Omegas after marrying my father, the Beta of this pack. "Is that true, Aurora?" Mom asked, her eyes hardening. "Hand over your sister's earrings!" She stretched out her right palm, expecting me to produce the earrings I had neither seen nor taken. "Mom, I didn't take Quincy's earrings. You're all accusing me wrongly. I just came back from work, and now Quincy called me out for her earrings. When could I have possibly stolen them?" I asked my mother, who scowled. "Shut up, you thief!" Mom smacked me across my right cheek, and I staggered backward again, tears streaming down my face. "Do you think I didn't notice how you admired that earring on Quincy's ear? Like you wanted to steal it because you know Alpha Xander gave it to her. Are you trying to steal his attention by taking what belongs to your sister?" Mom demanded, her words cutting into my chest like shards of glass. I looked at her speechless. My older brother, Kaleb, a tall, 25-year-old man, walked up to me, his eyes blazing with contempt. "Where is the earring, Aurora? An Omega like you shouldn't wear anything pricey. You are meant to work as a maid, a servant. That's what lowborns like you are born to be!" he said furiously. Dad stepped forward and looked down at me. "Aurora, not only do you not have a wolf, you are also useless to this family. How dare you steal your sister's earrings? Guards!" Dad summoned his warriors, and two guards entered. "Search Aurora's room for a beautiful jade earring," Dad ordered, and the two guards swung into action, heading to my room. I was not allowed to use the rooms on the top floor. I had to live as a servant in my own father's house. I stood in the hallway and watched the scene unfold. The guards ransacked my room, throwing my belongings everywhere. "Dad, we'll be late for Alpha Xander's 27th birthday. This is all Aurora's doing—to make us go late," Quincy said, crying as our mother hugged her tightly. "Don't worry. We'll find that jade earring before we leave," our mother said, her tone soft whenever she spoke to my sister. "Found it!" the guards announced. Dread washed down my spine as the two guards walked out of my room, and one of them handed the jade earring to my father. "How dare you do this, Aurora?" Kaleb yelled, and he rushed to smack me to the ground. "Kaleb, that's enough. You shouldn't raise your hand on Aurora. Don't forget she is still your sister," Dad said, despite his anger. "Dad, I reject Aurora as my sister. I cannot have a thief for a sister. Why would she steal from Quincy when she knows how special that gift is?" Kaleb fumed, and our father tried to calm him down. "Kaleb, as a man, it's not proper to raise your hand on a woman. Leave me to handle this," Dad dismissed my brother before looking at me with disappointment. "Tell me, Aurora. Why did you steal the jade earrings from Quincy's room?" Dad asked as I stood looking at my family, tears in my eyes. "Dad, why would I steal from Quincy? I don't know how this jade earring ended up in my room. This house has surveillance cameras. Let's see who stole it and tried to frame me," I said. My father frowned, as if he had almost forgotten about the CCTV. "Dad, that's right. Let's see the recording. That will be enough evidence to send Aurora to jail. She keeps bringing disgrace to us," Kaleb spat, and our father frowned—he didn't want me to go to jail. "Dad, I didn't steal the earring. I deserve to see the footage, too," I said, and Quincy panicked. "Dad, we're going to be late to Alpha Xander's 27th birthday party. Let's go, and when we come back, we'll deal with Aurora accordingly," Quincy spoke in her sweet, soft voice. I looked at her face. Wasn't she my older sister? Why was it a crime if I had touched any of her things? But I knew I hadn't taken the jade earring. Quincy was framing me. But why? I sobbed, watching them agree like a happy family. "You're right. Let's go," our mother agreed. They were all dressed up and heading out. It was 8 p.m., and the birthday celebration would have started. Alpha Xander wanted a late-night birthday celebration. I wasn't invited, and it wasn't as if I wanted to be around them or attend Alpha Xander's birthday. Before our mother walked out of the corridor, she glanced back at me and said, "Let me warn you, Aurora. You shouldn't dare leave this house or show yourself at the Alpha's mansion. Got it?" "Yes, Mom," I replied, despite my brokenness, and they left the house. The sound of their cars starting in the compound echoed as I went to my bed, sat on it, and cried my heart out to the Moon Goddess. "Why, Moon Goddess? Why did you give me to a family that didn't want me?" I cried aloud, my sobs filling the room until a voice startled me. "It's okay, Aurora. I am here now," the lovely voice said, and I panicked as I saw a white spirit wolf appeared beside my window.ALPHA XANDER:“Alpha Xander, I was the one who ordered for Aurora to get discharged. She is a student, and she cannot be confined in the hospital,” Beta Adrian explained, as I turned away from him to leave the hospital room.“It’s fine. I only wanted to be sure that she is fine and her wound is healing. Since you are here, I will take my leave now.” I pulled the door open and stepped out of the private room.Nora stood there, her head lowered, and I wondered if she had eavesdropped—if she heard when Aurora had rejected me and I refused.I didn’t spare Nora any glance nor wait to caution her, as I marched away and went to my car. I wanted to go hiking, running, or swimming to calm my arousal, my rage, and my displeasure at Aurora rejecting me.Why hadn’t I accepted Aurora's rejection? I didn’t like her to begin with. I had never taken any liking to Aurora before. Why would the moon goddess pair me with Aurora as mates?I was enraged as I swung my car door open, jumped into the driver’
ALPHA XANDER:After Quincy left the master bedroom on the top floor of this new duplex that I had purchased for us, my mood plummeted. My gaze darkened because she wanted me to swear to the moon goddess that I would not touch Aurora. How could I resist my real mate?My throat tightened. I wore my trousers back and moved out of the room to check on Aurora once more.“You’re making a mistake, Xander. Remember the curse. If you crown Quincy as your Luna, she will run mad. Do you want her to suffer the same fate as your mother, too?” Johnny reminded me, but I couldn’t respond. When I stepped downstairs, I stepped out of the house. Night had fallen, and the moon shone in the sky.I hopped into my black Jeep and drove back to the pack’s hospital to see Aurora and to ask the doctor about her injury and whether I should heal her with my power. My hands firmly held the steering wheel as I navigated my car and drove ahead to the pack’s hospital. It was a magnificent two-story building.Upon my
ALPHA XANDER: "I want you, Alpha," Quincy moaned against my ears as I threw her onto the bed in the master bedroom, my eyes glowing with a primal desire to claim her. I stepped back, my hands moving to take off my belt, as I pulled off my shirt and stripped myself naked. Quincy came to meet me, kneeling before me, and she stripped off her red dress. She knelt in her red bikini, looking as inviting as a desirable meal. "Alpha, may I?" Quincy asked for my permission as she peered at my face with her enchanting blue eyes. Her eyes were fixated on my crotch. "Yeah, you can A—," I said, wanting to call Aurora's name, as I couldn't believe that I was thinking about her at this moment. Quincy knelt on my new bed, her hands working faster as they reached for my boxers and stripped them off to release my huge rod freely. It spring freely as my short came off. As Quincy lips drew near to my huge rod to take me deep into her mouth like she always did, my mind pictured Aurora's face. And I
ALPHA XANDER: After I had gone to inspect my new house, I finished the paperwork for its sale—even though I am the new Alpha—and kept the document. Still, I couldn't resist the urge to come see Aurora. When I had arrived in the afternoon, Aurora was lying on her back and sleeping. My eyes scanned her bare back, as it was exposed for the breeze to caress her wound and enable it to heal. Johnny growled at me, "Do you see what you put our real mate through?" "Relax, Johnny. We can heal her wound," I said, moving closer to touch Aurora's back, as I wanted to heal the deep wound on her back. But I felt a strong presence watching me, even though Aurora was fast asleep. I could feel the presence of someone else, like an invisible force watching me and preparing to attack if I did something wrong to Aurora. "Do you sense it too, Johnny? Has Aurora found her wolf? Why can't we see her?" I asked my wolf, who tried to see the wolf hiding in the room. "You hurt our mate, so why would she wan
AURORA: A few minutes later, when I saw the time in the hospital room was past 4 PM, the door swung open and a health worker arrived, carrying a tray of my dinner. "Here's your food," she said, serving it on the table next to my bed. Before I could speak, the door opened again, and Nora Edmond rushed into the room to meet me. "Aurora, oh my goodness! What happened at home? Why did you attack Quincy to warrant you getting punished before the whole pack?" Nora asked, as she rushed up to the hospital bed to meet me. Nora wore a pink dress that fell past her knees; it was a loose-fitting dress, featuring a pair of black shoes. She was carrying a brown bag and also wearing a brown pair of slippers. Her long brown hair was styled into a ponytail, as she was a chubby, brown-skinned girl of 17. "Nora," I wiped off my tears, my heart aching painfully after learning that Alpha Xander and Quincy had been intimate. 'What am I expecting of them?' "What's wrong, Aurora? Speak to me," Nora aske
AURORA: Waking up on the hospital bed, the thick smell of disinfectant filled my nostrils. The incident at the pack square echoed in my mind, and I discovered that I was lying on my stomach, my back exposed. "Mm," I whimpered and tried to turn, but I heard voices in the room. "Dad, how can Aurora take your place and get flogged by Alpha Xander?" It was Kaleb's voice. He acted like he didn't care, but now he was here in the hospital room, asking my father. Was he trying to know what our father had to say? Dad sighed and said, "I hope this heals faster. Aurora doesn't have a wolf, and if it's not treated well, it could leave a scar." "Mmm. You shouldn't have slapped Quincy last night, no matter what she did. Of what use is Aurora to us? Quincy is the one to become Alpha Xander's chosen mate, and you ought to have respected that position," my brother snarled, his voice sharp, like he was blaming Dad. Like he believed that my father should have been the one to get punished. Dad sighe
AURORA: “What just happened?” I asked Malani in shock after my father walked out of my room. His words: “Aurora, do not get annoyed over your sister’s comment to have you banished. I will speak to all of them tomorrow morning. Goodnight.” My father left my room, gently shutting the door. I knew th

(Alpha Xander) "Greetings, Alpha Xander Roland. Happy 27th birthday to you," Wise One Jeffrey said. He wore a red top, black trousers, and a pair of black shoes. He was a tall, slender-looking brown-skinned man with long black hair. "What brings you here, Wise One?" I asked him, irritated to see h
(Aurora's POV) I made my way to my room on the first floor, and I heard Lola speaking to Linda again in her mocking tone. "Wait a minute. Do not tell me that Aurora is now a priestess. Hahaha!" Lola laughed heavily, and I glanced back as I stood in the corridor that led to my room. She was holding
