Chapter 14

Elaine heaved a sigh as she waited alone for Cannon while drinking more juice which seemed delicious. Maybe because of her starvation for two days made them taste even more amazing.

She continued taking one glass after another until she felt she needed to go to the restroom.

Knowing the direction from a waiter, she rose on her feet and walked there.

After she was done, she stood in front of the mirror there silencing thousands of questions running in her head.

Mentally noting to sort everything out by any means after going back to Cannon's place with him, she tried to calm her restless mind.

Then she got out of the washroom and walked towards the hall room. As soon as she entered the hall room, a waiter who was looking for her, walked to her. His hand reached up with a piece of folded paper.

Elaine’s brows furrowed as she asked, "What's that?"
