Chapter 110 Do You Still Believe in Love?

Rosalyn slept soundly that night—one of the few perks of alcohol.

When she woke up, Eric was sitting on the sofa in loungewear, his glasses perched on his nose as he read the morning paper. Maybe it was the grogginess from just waking up, but for a fleeting moment, she thought she saw a trace of Zac in Eric.

However, the next moment, Rosalyn snapped out of it and sat up straight.

"You're awake?" Eric flipped a page, the rustle of the paper filling the quiet room.

Rosalyn hummed in response and reached for her phone. It was already nine in the morning. She frowned slightly. This was the second time she had woken up late at Hammond Mansion.

She thought of last time, when she had tried to get up early and Eric had lectured her. Now she understood why he was still here after being awake. He didn't want to be seen as someone who didn't try.
