Jaxon POV.

The party was going great so far, too many people in our house, but it's a one-time thing, we had to do it. I have to remember to tell Emma no more parties in my house until Madlyn is like an adult. I'm worried about her, she hasn't come to see me the whole party, I knew Derek and Adrian held her but not me.

I had enough with everyone drilling questions on me, standing with me, and wanting me to say some kind of a speech. I never had social anxiety, but tonight I was worried, scared, but also done, just done with everything.

"Have you seen Madlyn?" I ask Derek, I was worried about her, I want to say goodnight before she goes up to bed.

"No, is Adrian putting her to bed?" he asks back, I nod to that, it's the plan but I still want to say goodnight first.

"Hey guys have you seen Madlyn?" Adrian asks, we both look at him with wide eyes, he's the one who should put her to bed not ask where she is.
