I stare at Alpha Logan for a long time,too long that he looks uncomfortable with my gaze. Looking away,I sigh " I don't know why you would say that considering you have never dated." I say. " Everyone is entitled to their opinions, that's yours." I say,taking a sip of my wine.

" Let's just enjoy the party, enough about relationship stuff." I say with every intention of changing the conversation. Alpha Logan seems to want to say something but he stops himself. He gives me a smile, "Since we are here, let's enjoy the party. Shall we dance?" He proposes and I am about to turn him down when he says, " don't say no to me, Camilla please." He begs and I find myself smiling at the man, agreeing to his request.

We make our way to the dance floor and begin swaying to the music. I look across the room and my eyes lock with Hector who seems to be glaring at me. He has his hands around a woman's waist, the woman who is dancing with him is a tall, beautiful, curvy, blonde-haired woman with beautiful, blue eyes. She looks like she is enjoying his presence but Hector doesn't seem interested, his eyes are on me and he seems angry.

The woman says something to him and he looks away from me. I roll my eyes at him. If he thinks I am going to be jealous to see him wrapped around a woman, then he is mistaken. He can even fuck her before me and I wouldn't care. It's crazy how I have outgrown my feelings for him. Of course, that bond is still there but that's all there is,a mate bond and no attachment.

" Can I ask you something Camilla?" Logan's voice pulls me from my thoughts. I turn to face him and flash him a smile.

" If it's something I'm comfortable answering then yes." I say and Logan chuckles.

" Are you telling me to be selective with my questions?" He asks and I smile.

" Are you still in love with Hector? Your mate?" He asks and I tense. The question is something I wasn't prepared for.

I try to pull myself together and give him a smile " You know,that sounds abit..." I trail off,not knowing what to say next

" I guess you didn't expect that." He says and I chuckle.

" No I didn't, not at all." I admit.

" So,can you answer that?" Logan pushes and I am at a loss for words.

" Let's just say,it doesn't hurt anymore." I say and I see a twinkle in his eyes. It however disappears so fast I think I imagined it.

" That's good to hear." He says. I raise my eyebrows at him.

" I mean, that's for the best. He is a scumbag,he doesn't deserve you." Logan corrects himself. I nod at him.

" I totally agree." I say as the music changes. We start swaying to a slow song and I find myself lost in Logan's eyes. They are so beautiful and they hold such warmth.

" Do you believe in fate Camilla?" Logan suddenly asks and I stare at him, surprised by the question.

" Yes, I do." I reply and he smiles. We enjoy the rest of the party. My eyes Search for a familiar face from time to time but I don't spot him. It's almost midnight when I decide to call it a night.

" I'll see you tomorrow, Camilla." Logan says,bidding me goodbye after escorting me back to my house.

" Tomorrow?" I repeat. After the mating ball, everyone leaves to their homes at the weekend hours of the morning. What does he mean by he will see me in the morning?

" I have something to discuss with Alpha Theo so I won't be leaving until tomorrow." Logan answers.

" Oh." I reply,not sure what else to say.

" Good night, Camilla." Logan says and walks away.

I close the door and lean against it. This man is so unpredictable. He is a complete mystery and it is getting hard to figure him out.

" You look good together." Alex's voice interrupts my thoughts. He is standing at our house sitting room, leaning against the wall and he has a bottle of coke in his hand.

" You scared me." I tell him and he smirks.

" I saw you and Alpha Logan. You look good together. So,how is the courting going?" Alex asks and I shake my head.

" It's not courting." I tell him and start walking to my bedroom.

" But you want it to be,don't you?" Alex pushes. I turn to him and see a playful smile on his face. I groan playfully.

" Alex,I know as my brother you want me married but things don't work that way. I only got to know him tonight and of course,he hasn't expressed that intention towards me." I say and Alex snorts.

" Please, if you can read between the lines, you would know what the man wants." Alex says and I laugh.

" Well, whatever, it's not like I'm rushing into anything. He is a cool guy and we are friends. So,I think that's okay." I say and walk into my bedroom, shutting the door behind me. I only said that to stop him from pushing me about Alpha Logan.

Alpha Logan is Indeed a good man and after tonight,I think he can make a good mate. But I am not looking at a mate at this point in life. Then there's alpha Theo. The man makes me feel alive. Every time I'm with him,it's like the world disappears and it's just the two of us.

I get to my closet and take off the dress. I wear my satin nightgown and jump on the bed. Pulling the covers over my body, I close my eyes. My mind instantly goes to Alpha Theo. Just thinking about him makes my clit throb.

I turn around, ignoring my aching pussy. Closing my eyes, I force myself to sleep.

Alpha Theo

I pace the floor of the bedroom, feeling the anger radiating off of me. Seeing Camilla dancing with Alpha Logan and the way they looked at each other made me want to punch the man in the face. It took everything in me not to shift and kill the man.

That little seductress, always getting the attention of men everywhere she goes. How is it possible to not see her beauty?

I have no claim over her but for some reason, the thought of her with another man drives me insane. She is my son's mate but I can't stop myself from thinking about her. When she came to my office and made that ridiculous request,I should have said no. But like the greedy bastard I am,I agreed.

Fuck, just the thought of her,her soft lips,her perfect shape, her scent...

I groan,feeling myself grow hard.

" Fuck!" I mutter,punching the wall.

I can't believe I agreed to that stupid deal. I don't know how I am supposed to control myself and not claim her. I shouldn't lust after a woman young enough to be my daughter. I practically raised her alongside her brother after her parents passed away.

But she has grown into a beautiful woman and seeing her,watching her train,makes me want to fuck her into submission. I can't believe a woman is making me lose control.

But that's what makes her special. Not many women can get a man like me, who has never been tied down.
