Tara’s POV

After everything that happened with Sarah and finding out about the party invitation from Jasper, Jane, Zoey and I decide to suspend our conversation and go out to have some fun. We’ve been dealing with exams and stress for so long that we all agree we deserve to celebrate and just enjoy ourselves for a while.

“Come on,” Jane says, grabbing my arm. “Let’s go to the mall. We can grab some food, maybe do some window shopping, and just relax.”

“Yes!” Zoey agrees enthusiastically. “I’ve been craving some real food instead of the boring stuff we’ve been eating while studying all the time.”

I nod, feeling excited about the idea. It sounds perfect after everything we’ve been through with exams. Plus, I need something to take my mind off all the confusing things that have been happening lately with Jasper, and everything else.

We make our way to the mall, talking and laughing as we walk. It feels so good to be carefree for once, without the weight of upcoming exams hanging over our

  • My Bullies Are Twin Hockey Players   Chapter 105: It’s nothing.

Xavier’s POVAfter Tara leaves the living room and storms up to her room, I feel this heavy weight settling in my chest. I can see that Jasper is frustrated too, running his hands through his hair and pacing around.I decide to go to my room because I need some time to think about what just happened. But more importantly, I need to talk to Tara as Jake. Maybe I can help calm her down or at least understand what she’s really thinking about all of this.I close my door behind me and grab my phone from my desk. I know I need to be careful about what I say and how I say it. Tara can’t suspect anything, especially not now when everything is already so complicated. But before I can even send her a message, I see that she’s already sent me a voice note. My heart starts beating faster as I put in my earphones and click play.“Jake, you won’t believe what just happened to me,” her voice says, and I can hear how upset and frustrated she sounds. “I’m staying at the twins’ house now, like I told

  • My Bullies Are Twin Hockey Players   Chapter 104: Not a prank

Jasper’s POVIt’s getting dark outside, and Tara still isn’t back home. I keep checking my phone to see what time it is, and with each passing minute, I’m getting more and more worried. Where could she have gone? She doesn’t know this neighborhood, and she left here angry and upset.I’m sitting in the living room, trying to focus on the TV, but I can’t concentrate on anything. My eyes keep drifting to the window, hoping to see Tara walking up the driveway. But there’s nothing. Xavier is pacing around the house, and I can tell he’s just as worried as I am. He keeps going to different windows, looking out like he might spot Tara somewhere in the distance.“This is all your fault,” I say to him, not trying to hide my frustration. “Why couldn’t you just clean up the water immediately when it spilled?”Xavier stops pacing and turns to look at me. “It was an accident, Jasper,” he says, and I can hear the tiredness in his voice. “I’ve told you this a hundred times already.”“Well, maybe if

  • My Bullies Are Twin Hockey Players   Chapter 103: Surprised he’s rich.

Tara’s POVTony invites me into his house, and I can’t hold myself from making a look of total surprise. My mouth literally falls open as I step through the front door. The inside of his house is even more impressive than the outside, which I didn’t think was possible.“I never thought you were a rich kid,” I confess to Tony, still looking around in amazement. Everything in this house screams money.Tony just laughs at my reaction. “My parents work really hard,” he says simply, like having a house this big and fancy is totally normal. “They’re in business, always traveling for work.”I’m still trying to process all of this when Tony asks me what I’m doing in this neighborhood. I realize I haven’t explained why I’m here, walking around by myself, looking upset.“I’ll be staying here for some time,” I tell him, trying to keep my voice casual even though I’m still frustrated about the whole situation. “But it’s not by my will. I don’t really have a choice in the matter.”Tony nods like h

  • My Bullies Are Twin Hockey Players   Chapter 102: Pulling prank

Tara’s POVWe get to the dining room, and I’m surprised to see that the table is already set with food, but something seems off. The twins’ parents are nowhere to be seen, which is strange since I thought they would be joining us. “Where are your parents?” I ask, looking around the empty dining room.“Oh, they had to leave on an emergency,” Jasper says casually, like it’s no big deal. “They got a call about some business issue that needed immediate attention.”I’m shocked by this news. “They left? But I just got here.” “Yeah, it’s pretty much normal for them,” Jasper continues with a shrug. “They always leave suddenly like this and come back three days later. Sometimes it’s business, sometimes it’s other family matters. You’ll get used to it.”This information makes me feel even more uncomfortable about being here. I was expecting to stay in a house with adult supervision, but now it’s just going to be me and the twins for the next few days. This is not what I signed up for.I look

  • My Bullies Are Twin Hockey Players   Chapter 101:

Tara’s POVI feel like Xavier is being childish and doesn’t know when to quit with his stupid jokes. Standing here in the hallway with water all over my clothes and the floor, I can’t believe this is how my first day at their house is starting. This has to be another one of their pranks, and I’m already tired of it.I don’t say anything to Xavier, but I can see the sorry look on his face. He’s standing there looking at me like he actually feels bad about what just happened, but it only disgusts me more because I think he’s just pretending. He’s probably trying to act innocent so I won’t be mad at him, but I can see right through it.“Tara, I’m really sorry,” he says, taking a step toward me. “I didn’t mean for that to happen. I was carrying the cup to check if everything looked neat in your room area, and I tripped and spilled it. I completely forgot to clean it up when you arrived.”I look at him with disbelief. Does he really expect me to believe that this was just an accident? Afte

  • My Bullies Are Twin Hockey Players   Chapter 100: Back at home

Xavier’s POVThe morning back at my own parents’ house feels normal and familiar. After months of living in Tara’s house, being back in my own room with my own things feels comfortable. I wake up in my own bed and look around at my familiar surroundings, my posters on the walls, my desk where I used to do homework, my bookshelf with all my books.I go through my usual morning routine, taking a shower in my own bathroom and getting dressed in my own room. Everything feels the way it used to before we had to move in with Tara’s family. It’s nice to have some normalcy back.Downstairs, my parents are already awake and moving around the house. My mother is in the kitchen making breakfast, and my father is reading the newspaper at the dining table. The smell of bacon and eggs fills the air, and it reminds me of weekend mornings before everything changed.“Good morning, Xavier,” my mother says when she sees me. “Did you sleep well?”“Yes, really well,” I tell her honestly. “It’s good to be
