My father stood in front of Trevor and the Elders of the pack. Although I was no longer crying, my eyes were still red. I had lost my child, and because I could not say what had happened, I would have to deal with the side effects of the poison.

Anytime I thought about it, I was filled with anger since I didn't even know the antidote. I wanted Camille to be unable to have another child, so I didn't bother to ask that woman for the antidote.
