AMELIA’s POV…

As he dragged me out of the car, I tried to get free from him, because staring at the building, I immediately knew why he’d brought me here.

“Please, let me go. I promise, I won’t do anything to ruin your relationship. You’ve already rejected me, Alpha Aiden , there’s no need to do this. Please, I beg of you, don’t do this to me.” I begged, tears streaming down my cheeks as Alpha Aiden dragged me across the hallway, to a strange room where a woman, some strange men, and half-dressed girls my age stood, and I gulped as I tried to run out of the room, but he pushed me back into the room, taking out his dagger as he placed it to my throat, angrily.

“Don’t make me lose it, Amelia, because, trust me, if I lose it, I won’t even give you the chance to get auctioned, I’ll kill you right here.” He told me, and I swallowed, tears streaming down my cheeks as I stepped into the room, away from him and his sword.

I closed my eyes, these weren’t threats from him, he could do it, he would, and he wouldn’t even care to do it. That was something I couldn’t risk.

He chuckled after the strange men now had me in their arms. “That’s good. Don’t worry, Amelia. You’re a virgin, I’m sure you’ll get sold at a good price, so come on, don’t fret, but trust me, if you do anything stupid, I’ll make sure it’s the last time. You know what I mean.” He told me, putting the knife aside as he turned away from me, walking out of the room as he banged the room, and I gasped.

Looking around the room, I could see the fear in the eyes of the girls, and tears streamed down my cheeks even more. Was this what my life had come to? Was this how the moon goddess had decided I would end? A whore for some lustful man? Being a hybrid omega, I had been through a lot already, but this? I couldn’t believe it, but then, what could I do? This was my life, this was what I would have to deal with for the rest of my being.

“Hey, what do you think you are? Some sort of princess? Come on, get changed.” The woman said, and just then, she threw the clothes in my face, and I gasped.

Taking the clothes out of my face, my jaw dropped in disgust at the sight of the top. What in the name of holy guacamole was this? I turned to her, and she frowned as she growled at me, like she was planning to eat me up, and I took in a deep inhale.

“I can’t wear this, I’m sorry. This isn’t the kind of thing I would wear.” I told her, and next thing, everyone in the room started to burst into laughter.

“What do you think? You’re advertising clothes? Give them what they need to see, and you’ll be sold, so come on, if you don’t want me to call Alpha Aiden back in here for your life to be over, you…” before she could finish speaking, I took the clothes, shaking my head as fear surged through me.

I swallowed, “there’s no need for that, I’ll wear it, but please, don’t call Alpha Aiden back in here.” I told her, tears streaming down my cheeks, and she gave me a little feigned smile as she pushed me into a small curtain that seemed to be a dressing room.

As I got changed, more tears streamed down my cheeks. Was this really what the moon goddess wanted for me? I gasped in pain, it felt like I couldn’t even breathe properly, and I didn’t know what to do.

Getting changed, I stared at myself in the mirror as tears streamed down my cheeks. I hated this, and before I could even get the chance to make a few changes to it, one of the guards rushed in as he dragged me away.

“It’s your turn. Remember, behave yourself, or else, instead of being placed in front of those alphas, your corpse will be placed outside, for you to suffer.” He told me, and I swallowed, tears streaming down my cheeks.

“Presenting to you next, from the Moon crystal pack, a hybrid omega…” before the woman could even finish speaking, the men started to murmur, and I heaved a sigh of relief, of course, no one would want a hybrid omega, and just as I turned, she calmed them down.

“No, no, I’m not done yet. She’s a hybrid omega, yes, but she’s a virgin.” She said, and hearing this, I gasped as I turned back to her, tears streaming down my cheeks.

Did Alpha Aiden really tell them this? How disgusting could he be?

The moment she mentioned that I was a virgin, the men started to cheer loudly, and I closed my eyes, hoping that this would all be a dream, but the moment I heard my name, “Amelia Aniston!” With the guards pushing me, I realized it wasn’t, and as the spotlight came on me, I tried to cover myself, but it wasn’t helping.

“So, place your bids.” The woman said, and turning to her, I couldn’t help but wonder one thing, how could one woman be comfortable doing this to another woman? Did she even sleep at night after doing these despicable things?

“Five hundred thousand!” I heard one of the men in the crowd yell and I gasped, wanting to move away from there. I didn’t care about death anymore, I couldn’t do this, no way, but these men weren’t having this, and next thing I knew, they rushed to me, and held me down.

“Save me, Selene, save me, please.” I pleaded to the moon goddess, tears streaming down my cheeks as I tried to cover myself so these men wouldn’t see through my dignity, but it was of no use. The outfit was too revealing for me to be able to do anything.

“One million!” I heard another man yell, and tears started to stream down my cheeks as I struggled to get free, but it wasn’t helping. They were just stronger than me, and there was nothing I could do about it.

“Let’s see the back.” One of the men yelled, and the moment they turned me, I started to pick a scent.

I closed my eyes as I shook my head, no, not again, I recognized this feeling, it was the same way I’d felt the very day I found out Alpha Aiden was my mate.

When I prayed for the moon goddess to help me, this wasn’t what I meant.

Standing there while they twirled me, the scent started to get stronger and I could feel my wolf jumping in me.

“Five million.” I heard another man yell, but that wasn’t my concern now. What was wrong with me, why was I feeling this way?

I was turned to face the crowd again, and just then, from behind me, I heard a little gasp and call, “mate.”

Hearing this, I froze, and I swallowed. I closed my eyes, my heart beating even faster, and just then, following the little call, a voice that was deep enough to make me weak in the knees called, “well, hello, mate.”

Hearing this, I turned immediately, and seeing who it was, my jaw dropped in shock. His cold eyes, scanning me from my head to my toes,his hands swooshing through his dark hair, and then those lips finally parting, his next words shook me. Before I could even get a grasp of what was happening, he yelled,

“Fifty million!”
