Since both I and Mill had convinced Killian that we should go to the forest and have a look at the explosion and see if Ingrid had finally died this time and, at the same time, to check the safety of Kaleid, I couldn't help but let out a triumphful smile.
Although I may not seem to show it on the outside that I was worried about Kaleid, deep inside I was anxious. I tried to hypnotize myself into thinking that Kaleid was okay and there was no need for me to worry too much because it would consume my energy and also would affect my baby.
