Xyla's P.O.V.

"Why?" I asked Naomi, once my baby sister, and standing in front of me like a sworn enemy, my eyes were still dry as I refused to cry in front of her. After everything that I did for her, this is what I got in return.

Betrayal?????

Torture????

"Why? Are you really asking me, Xyla?" She asked me angrily, mocking me in the process.

I was already on the verge of death. So, I just stayed silent, breathing shallowly, fire around me burning my skin at a very slow pace, but I refused to give her the satisfaction of hearing my screams.

I should have seen this coming to me. Now, I realized that there were hints of her hatred towards me all the time.

It was me who was ignorant, and now, I was paying the price with my life.

If she had killed me directly, I wouldn't have resented her so much, but no, she decided to torture me in every inhumane manner that she could think of.

She put my drugged and naked body on a thick slab of ice and then lit candles all around my body, covering every inch of my body except my back. My hair had already burned completely, destroying the scalp in the end.

My skin was now dripping drop by drop everywhere, but she wanted to see me scream.

"Ever since I started understanding things, you are the one who has been outstanding in every aspect. Everyone praised you for your achievements, for being reasonable, for being intelligent, and for being strong and skilled. You are the one who is beautiful between us, but what about me?" She screamed at me, and the next second, she raised her claw and slashed my chest deeply.

My whole body trembled hard, but she had given me a high concentration of wolfsbane mixed with some other sedatives and aphrodisiacs.

Yes, she used all the illegal drugs known to the world on me so that I couldn't fight her.

She feared me, but her fear gave birth to her jealousy and hatred towards me.

"I was just your shadow, inferior to you in every aspect," she continued screaming and slashing my upper body like a maniac with a set of sharp knives instead of her fingers.

"Everything that you have belonged to me, but you stole it from me. I got the alpha title, but everyone wants to see you in me." She continued screaming while slashing me.

I felt pain, immense pain, but I couldn't even flinch a little.

My heartbeat was now fading fast, but I felt something crawling on my body from everywhere.

I wanted to laugh at my luck, but tears dropped from the corners of my eyes.

Leeches were now crawling over my body, trying to suck as much blood as they could.

"That husband of yours was supposed to kill you on your first night after marriage, but he decided to mark you and made you the most powerful Luna. Why? Why?" She continued screaming while recalling every big and small incident of my life.

She forgot that it was she who refused to marry him.

She forgot that I never wanted to be the most powerful Luna because this title was not a blessing but a curse.

"Why, you have everything that I desired. I snatched your mate, but that b*stard cheated on me too. I threw you in front of that monster, but he became your puppet. I wanted you to rot and beg for mercy, but you ruled the world. Why? Why?" Her screams burst my eardrums, but I closed my eyes.

She wanted to kill me because of her resentment and jealousy?

I understand, but she shouldn't have touched my pup.

She shouldn't have let me witness her dying.

This was her grave mistake.

If I could change that single day of my life, I would make you pay for what you did to me and my pup, Naomi.

Just one chance.

Just one more chance to live.

One chance to avenge myself and my pup.

I slowly opened my eyes when the shrill sound of my alarm started hurting my eardrums.

I sighed and closed my eyes again after shutting off the alarm.

Another nightmare, but it still feels so real.

Because this wasn't the nightmare but the brutal reality that I suffered in my past life.

Naomi, my younger sister, for whom I endured all the hardship all my life and even sacrificed all my happiness by marrying a monster and then rejecting my fated mate. What I got in the end, though.

She burned me alive but at a very slow rate, letting leeches suck my blood flowing through those slashes on my chest and abdomen. Every torture bestowed on me by her was unforgivable, but what she did to my pup was a sin.

Before putting me inside the fire circle on those ice slabs, she made me watch my pup dying in front of me. I couldn't even see if my baby was alive or dead when Naomi threw her in that tank filled with leeches and so many other insects. I didn't hear her crying but felt her bond with me breaking bit by bit, intensifying the pain with every passing second.

I could forgive Naomi for what she did to me, but not what she did to my pup.

For two years.

For two long years, I lived every single day just like in my past life, without making any major changes, but I did change a few things.

Yes, I was given a chance to avenge myself and my pup two years ago on my eighteenth birthday.

I am twenty now, and today is the day when my parents and my beloved sister with my mate will try to manipulate me into taking Naomi's place in the marriage alliance with the most cruel alpha of present time.

I slowly opened my eyes and took a deep breath.

The day had arrived.

The day that should have been a happy day turned into a nightmare after they made me reject my mate.

The day when my love and protectiveness towards my baby sister would make me take the worst decision of my life.

I closed the alarm and slowly stood up from the bed.

I let the silk sheet slide down my half-naked body, as I wore only shorts made up of silk when I slept, a habit I developed after I was reborn.

Because I still felt my skin burning in my nightmares, making it impossible for me to sleep with a piece of cloth on my body. The smoothness of silk somehow gave me some ease.

I took the silk robe from the foot of the bed and put it on while walking towards the window.

I opened the window after fastening the belt loosely around my waist.

I leaned forward and closed my eyes while taking a long and deep breath, filling my lungs with the fresh morning air.

"Finally the day has come. She loves snatching my things, right? Let's see what she will do now," I mumbled to myself with a faint smile dancing on my lips.

I put my hands on the sill of the window and leaned forward more, putting my whole weight on my hands, breathing deeply so that I could have enough fresh air in my lungs for later.

"Ready for the day, honey?" I asked my wolf, who also grinned wickedly.

  • Reborn Luna And Her Revenge   the sweetest harvest

Xyla’s P.O.V.A full year had passed since the night the Moon Goddess bound our fates forever at the Starfire Altar, and the world had finally learned the quiet art of peace.Nestled along the pristine eastern shore of the lake, far removed from the towering stone ramparts, heavy oak doors, and endless political courtrooms of the Night Howl Packhouse, stood our small timber-and-stone cottage. It was a haven built from scratch with our own hands—where wild star-lilies, climbing honeysuckle, and blooming jasmine wrapped around the wooden porch railings, filling the soft afternoon breeze with the intoxicating, sweet scent of uninterrupted life. From the wide, open kitchen window, the melodic, ringing sound of childish laughter echoed across the manicured garden, cutting through the warm air like silver bells.I leaned against the wooden windowsill, wiping my flour-dusted hands on my cotton apron.A soft, helpless smile spread across my face as I looked out at the yard. There, sitting on

No One's P.O.V.The heavy oak doors of the Night Howl Packhouse swung open, releasing a low, echoing rumble across the marble courtyard as Xander and Xyla made their triumphant return home. For weeks, the pack had awaited the return of their Alpha. But as Xander stepped across the threshold with Xyla beside him, her hand securely laced in his, a collective breath caught in the throats of every warrior, healer, and family member gathered in the grand foyer. She no longer bore the shadowed, exhausted gaze of a woman running from an ancient curse or hiding from political schemes. She walked with the quiet, radiant authority of a true Luna, blessed directly by the Moon Goddess and tempered through the fires of war.At the base of the grand staircase stood Beta Rudolf, his usual stern, unyielding posture softening into a broad, genuine smile.Beside him stood Brian and Ruben. The subtle, freshly forged silver mark humming softly on Ruben’s collarbone matched the brilliant Alpha-tracker sce

  • Reborn Luna And Her Revenge   severing the last thread

The atmosphere in the Great Hall remained festive, the echo of laughter and clinking ale mugs reverberating off the high stone arches.Yet beneath the surface of my joy, a tender ache bloomed within my chest.Deep within the sanctum of my soul core, a quiet voice whispered—fragile, heavy, and resigned.“Vera,” I called softly in the quiet privacy of my mind, reaching toward the luminous spirit of my wolf sister nested beside Honey.Honey was holding her tightly; her own heartbreak was evident in her gaze.“I need to go now, right?” Vera whispered. Her voice carried a heartbreak that echoed through my own ribs, yet beneath the grief was an overwhelming, unselfish warmth. She understood. Ruben’s soul belonged to Brian now, bound by the sacred design of the Moon Goddess. For Vera to remain tethered to Ruben’s spirit core—even as a faint, remnant echo of a past life—would only trap him in the ghost of what used to be.“You gave him a second chance at life, Vera. You love him wholeheartedl

Xyla’s P.O.V.The grand hall of the packhouse had never looked so radiant.Banners woven with rich emerald silk and silver oak leaves hung from the towering arched ceiling, reflecting the warm, ambient glow of hundreds of floating starlight candles. The scent of roasted feast game, crushed lavender, and sweet wild jasmine drifted through the air, completely washing away the bitter tang of sulphur and burnt sage that had haunted our territory for far too long.Tonight was not merely a victory celebration for a war survived—it was the night the tide permanently turned for our people, laying down the foundation for an unshakeable future.Standing before the polished silver mirror in our private quarters, I adjusted the ceremonial silver shoulder mantle resting over Xander’s dark formal tunic. His hair was trimmed neatly, and his dark brown eyes burned with an overwhelming mixture of tenderness, relief, and quiet pride as he watched my reflection through the glass."You are exceptionally

Xyla’s P.O.V. (Continued)"You will not face execution, for I will not spill more pack blood on the heels of this victory. Instead, you will spend your remaining years serving as a low-rank caretaker, rebuilding the outer boundary posts you compromised and tending to the families of the warriors who fell. You will live with the truth, Carl, and you will serve the pack in humility."Tears glistened in Carl's weathered eyes as he sank to one knee, placing his hand over his chest."Thank you... my Luna. Your mercy is a far greater gift than my actions ever deserved."From his chair, Henrick let out a low, rough chuckle, raising his steaming mug in my direction."Told you she had the spirit of a true Alpha Luna, you old fool," Henrick grunted at Carl before smiling up at me.His foolish childish grin made me shake my head helplessly.A ripple of warm laughter and approving nods passed through the assembled elders, breaking the lingering gloom.Xander stepped forward, his massive hand tigh
