One Year LaterPossibly the most terrifying and incredible day of my life was the day that Pele came into this world. Much like Emmi, I’d barely been sleeping, wanting to be there for her and ease as much of her pain in those last weeks as possible. But then her stomach lit on fire.My father and I talked to Phoenix about it after the fact. Ajax and I have been seeing Doc Everett two to three times a week for several months now. As their delivery times got closer, we started seeing Amne and Eliane more frequently in the temporary medical center and then the official medical center once it was completed.
