Killian's POV

Killian – Age 14

I hate people.

I hate parties.

But apparently, hating things doesn’t mean you get to avoid them.....not when you’re next in line to be the Godfather of Italy.

I was supposed to “socialize” today.

“Get involved more,” they said, But I don't really care about what other people think.

So here I am, hiding upstairs while my kid brother floats around in a pool on a giant banana to celebrate his tenth birthday.

I managed to leave before anyone noticed. I came up here to finish a sketch I started this morning. One of the few things that clears my head.

I was almost done but a knock on the door interrupted me, not just any knock—her knock.

I sigh, pulling the door open sure enough, my mother’s standing there arms crossed..She looks a bit pissed

“What are you doing up here?” she asks, trying to sound casual. “Come on, Jeremy doesn’t want to cut his cake without you. And your father ,he wants to introduce you to some people. Plus…”

Killian's POV I grab Alex’s arm and twist it behind her back. “Where’s Alessandra?” My voice is low, tight. She winces, jaw clenched but says nothing. I press harder. Her breath catches in pain. “Where is she?” I snap. “And why the hell are you dressed like her?” She lets out a shaky laugh almost breathless. “What gave me away? We’re basically the same.” “No,” I say, leaning in. “You might have her face, her hair, your even putting on her goddamn perfume. But you’re not her. You’re not even close. Now tell me where she is.” “The door’s open. Why don’t you go find out?” Her voice has lost the edge it started with, but I don’t care. I shove her back. She stumbles, nearly hitting the wall. I don’t wait. I storm inside. I’ve been here before. A few times. Alessandra used to sneak me in when we were kids. Showed me all the best hiding spots. The place is massive. Bigger than Ronan’s house actually ....You could lose someone here forever. But I head straight to the room that

  • Ruin Me: Falling for My Best Friend’s Fiancée   Hundred and one- Bury you alive

Killian’s POV It had been two days since I heard from Alessandra. She sent me a single text after I called and texted her more times than I could count. Alessandra: I'm fine. I'm going back to Italy with your dad. And don't go off the rails either—he apologized to me. I stared at that message until the screen dimmed each time. IF Ronan had kidnapped her, she wouldn’t have been able to text me at all , so She's Safe But still. Yes, I held a gun to Ronan's head. And no, I don't regret it. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I’ve known for years that my father had a problem with K. Like every other mafia group out there. Nexus ripped his clean little empire apart, and Alessandra—she took away his profit which is one of the major reasons he's still in this business If I hadn’t stood my ground that day, he would have gone after her and I would have killed but currently he won't hurt her ever because when she stood in front of him, not flinching, not afraid, I saw somethi

  • Ruin Me: Falling for My Best Friend’s Fiancée   Hundred - You don't

Alessandra's POV Killian’s face does something I’ve never seen before. He went pale. Not cold. Not angry. Just... lost. Like I’d said something so wrong it cracked in him...his grip loosens around my waist, and without a word, I let my legs fall back to the floor. I stand on my own. But I don’t let go of hope. Not yet. He has to love me. At least a little. I could survive on just a little. “Killian....” I say, barely more than a breath. “I can give you the world, Ale,” he says. And that’s when hope dies. It doesn’t shatter. It just.....fades. Like a match burning down to your fingers. “But not yourself,” I whispered but I know he heard me he always hears me I taste salt on my lips....tears again. I don’t even try to stop them this time. “I can give you that,” he says quietly, eyes burning. “You could kill me, and I’d be grateful it was you.” He took a step closer. I stepped back. “Not your heart" I looked him in the eye and I didn't Flinch, neither did he. For

  • Ruin Me: Falling for My Best Friend’s Fiancée   Ninety Nine- Do you love me?

Alessandra’s POV I must be seeing this wrong... Right... I close my eyes and count to five but the scene in front of me doesn't change Killian.....he’s holding a gun to his father’s head. His eyes are wild, twitching like he's barely holding himself together, but Ronan’s face is calm. Too calm. The kind of Calm only a Salvatore could pull off in a room thick with tension and the sharp smell of danger. And the mistake I made was opening that damn door. The guards outside they saw me, saw the gun. Suddenly the room was full of them, weapons raised, every barrel aimed at Killian. They don’t know. They don’t know he’s Ronan’s son...They will shoot And I expect Killian to let go of the gun. To step back. To surrender like anyone else would in this situation. But he doesn’t. He just keeps holding it, his grip steady. “Kill...” I breathe, but I can’t even finish. Ronan doesn’t flinch. He doesn't even blink. “Put down the guns,” Ronan commands, voice cu

  • Ruin Me: Falling for My Best Friend’s Fiancée   Ninety Eight - Father vs Son

Alessandra's POV There were so many reasons I started building and making those weapons as K but truthfully I never designed them my mother did ... after she died I came across her work book and then dad sent me a way ..I had access to his money so it wasn't difficult to get myself the proper equipment and supplies a place i could work too ... I'm the daughter who learned to shop online before I could bathe myself so he thought I was spending the money on luxury goods .. well at the time uncle Diego covered that aspect of my life ...but this man in front of me...“So, what...you know so much about me now?” I asked, my voice quieter than I meant it to be.He hummed like he was thinking deeply.“I only know what you let me know.”I folded my hands tighter in my lap, eyes on a crack in the floor tile.“Was my sister ever here too? you mentioned her ” I asked carefully. He leaned back in his chair. “Once or twice. But nothing like yours. She came in just to talk. Nothing serious.”He n

  • Ruin Me: Falling for My Best Friend’s Fiancée   Ninety Seven

Alessandra’s POV “Oh, sure. Yes, we can talk,” I said, standing up from the vanity dresser to face her. “Out on the balcony,” Avery added as she stepped outside. Unlike Lia, Avery was stricter. Sharper. She didn’t speak in riddles or sugarcoat anything. Because I’d been stuck on bed rest, we hadn’t really had a chance to connect. So I followed her, the weight in my chest growing heavier with every step. My heart sat in my stomach. “How was your night....” I started, but she cut me off right away. “I don’t hate you,” she said, steady and cold, “but I love my son.” I swallowed hard. “I know that, and....” She interrupted again. “What are you doing with him? I know how much he cares about you. And you’re getting married last I checked to his brother, no less.” She paused, eyes locked on mine. “I know he told you about his parentage and I know my son. If you were marrying just anyone, they’d be dead by now. But it’s his brother. And you? Walking down that aisle would crush him.
