“Elliot,” I whispered as I came to. I tried to open my eyes, but they felt weirdly heavy and swollen. When I finally succeeded, I opened them, wincing as bright light flashed inside. I shut them instantly and opened them once again, looking at my surroundings.

I was in my room. It seemed Elliot had dragged me into the room after what he did.

I was tied to a chair with silver chains on my upper body and thick rope on my lower body.

“Elliot!” I grunted, struggling in my restraint. “What the hell is this?!”

I couldn't understand what was going on. Was it because I had agreed not to do away with Ivy? Was that the reason he had tied me up?

“What is the meaning of this? I swear by the goddess if you don't answer me this instant…!”
