Chapter 59 - Steve knows a lot

Cora's POV

The lecturer walks in and that marks the end of our conversation for now. I can hardly concentrate on what he is saying but then, I realize that it isn't just my fears distrusting me but the lecture itself is so boring.  As I look around, I see almost half of the students dozing. The lecturer appears unperturbed but the understanding hits home when he gives us an assignment. You can't get it right if you did not pay attention. Some of the students begin to murmur. 

"I got it, Cora, I can help you if there is a need," Patty says. 

I feel solace. "That will be great. My attention was divided throughout the lecture. So unusual for me," I confess.

"I know it's because of what I told you. Come on, let's go to the library. Our last lecture is in thirty minutes." My stomach begins to growl.

"No, I think we should rather get something to eat. Don't worry, I will have time to study at home." I said to assure her that I needn't
