A woman was wearing casual clothes, a simple type of dark blue shirt. With cotton trousers. Too simple, getting into a skyscraper. The building is a large company called the Victoria Company. "Excuse me, I've come for a job interview," the woman said to the female information officer.

"Go up to the fifth floor. You will find a room when you turn right. Some applicants are also doing interviews," said the information officer.

Alice immediately walked towards the elevator. It was so brutal that he was the only one who looked like he was about to enter the elevator. The girl immediately pressed the open button to open the elevator door.

No need to wait too long. The elevator door opened. The girl entered with a slightly hesitant step. Several times he sighed as if she was not sure he would interview for this company. The Victoria Company is vast, and entry is very, very tight. Alice just graduated from high school. She accidentally pressed the apply button to this company while looking for job vacancies online. She did not expect to be accepted because of her diploma. However, unexpectedly, she actually got a call for an interview.

The elevator doors were about to close when a handsome, dashing, and also… ashen white man walked into the elevator very calmly. Alice didn't see the man outside. But how could he suddenly get into the elevator? Strange, but maybe Alice was too nervous and didn't notice.

This time the elevator doors actually closed. There was only Alice and the man beside her. Alice chose to stand at the end. She was not too comfortable alone with an unknown man in the elevator. Alice didn't think badly of this man, but it didn't hurt to be wary.

But Alice's thoughts really did affect her. She suddenly felt the temperature inside the elevator seemed very cold. It didn't feel this cold. Moreover, the man nearby, since entering, has just been silent. Not even the sound of her breath could be heard. Not to mention Alice felt that the elevator was moving slowly. They had just arrived on the second floor. Though to get to the fifth floor shouldn't take long.

"Cool," Alice muttered.

Alice's words turned out to be heard by the man. He turned to Alice. "Why?" asked the man in a curt tone.

What's this? Why did the man have to be so curt when he asked. As a result, Alice shook her head and chose to look down. But for some reason, Alice felt that she was being stared at. Alice is shy. She chose not to look at the man. She didn't want to be in trouble today.

Luckily, the elevator doors opened. Alice saw that she had arrived on the fifth floor. The man beside her hurriedly left. Even though Alice was trying to get out. However, the man didn't even care about Alice's footsteps that had advanced first.

But luckily, nothing terrible happened. Alice breathed a sigh of relief as she exited the elevator. The girl headed to the right, as indicated by the clerk in the lobby.

She saw about five people in clothes that were, of course, more appropriate than Alice's, which was very simple.

He looked at Alice a little coquettishly. But Alice was more comfortable because she looked good in Alice's eyes.

"Miss Alicia Johnson," the beautiful woman in front called out to her. "Why are you daydreaming?" she asked.

"Why did you apply for a job at my company?" the man asked with his intimidating gaze.
