Chapter 30

“Are you asleep!?” A dumpy woman with beady eyes, no neck, and a mean glare yelled at me.

“No, I’m not,” I answered in the most cheerful tone I could muster but her mean glare persisted.

Despite how heavy and sluggish my body felt, life went on. I had to go to classes and the clinic. Classes were starting to pick up and I was feeling more and more left behind so there was no option to slack off even a bit.

The woman in front of me was one of many people today destined to make my life a little harder. As if I was not tired enough, I had to deal with a woman with such an ugly personality.

“Did you not hear me when I said I am unsatisfied with the service provided here? Why were you quiet then?” The woman screamed at me.

“I am sorry you feel that way, ma’am,” I answered in a tone as sincere as possible. “We are particular about providing the best care for our patients so…”
