“What about the first?” Jake sat back, placing the phone closed to his ear. “I don't keep the name in my head.”

“It's Orion.” Damon did not take long to reply.

Jake exhaled, pushing his hair backward. “Don't you think he's making a move too?”

“I mean, he's been meeting with her recently, don't you think he'd be talking about it, about coming back to precise.”

For a moment, there was silence between them, and Damon pressed his lips together in unease, with a distant look in his eyes like he was trying to replay something.

“I don't know Jake,” he started, knitting his forehead. “As you know, I'm not really good at focusing on two things, but then, I think I'm getting the hang of it now.”

“But for some reasons, I just think Elysia's yet to trust him,” Damon added, shrugging on the position he was. “But then, the question is, how long before that changes.”

“I guess I'm not the only one who thinks she might change then,” Jake muttered under his breath, pushing his lips up. “But just

Orion was sitting in the office of Jordan that was barely lit, and he placed both arms on the armrests of the swivel chair, completely lost in thoughts. Upon his arrival to the building, he was told by the security that Jordan was yet to come, but still, he was not willing to stay out, and knowing him for the man he was, the security had no other choice than to let him in. “Good day sir,” a female walked in, adjusting the belt that was just on the same level with her waist, and she placed a hand behind her, clearing her throat so as to pull Orion out of his thoughts— anyone who saw him, don't need to be told that he was deeply lost in whatever thing he was thinking. “Sir,” she called out once more, taking a step forward. “Oh,” he rubbed his eyes, yet to see the figure standing right at his front. “I've been–” He swallowed his words back, right after he saw the woman, mirroring the surprised look on her face too. “Is Jordan back?” He demanded, arching an eyebrow, only for her to

Two months had passed since Damon arrived, he saw the message that was sent to him anonymously, but then, he gave no reply, he just returned back to the country, acting like nothing happened, except from the fact that he visited more often. Orion on the other hand did not see that as a reason to stop, instead, he started showing more at book signings, meetings, and even things that were concerned with Armin and Alina; Elysia saw, she noticed, but then, she did not trust him. “I don't think I will be able to make it today, so yes, you can attend in my place or tell them to postpone it to one of the free days of the week,” Orion's word tumbled out in a rush, his voice was low but he could not just take off his eyes from the little boy that had mounted the stage.Nessa let out a sigh, staring at the computer at her front. “Okay sir, I'd do that with immediate effect and tell you their response, how about that?” “It’s fine by me too,” he whispered, ending the call with a single tap of

The phone was still in Elysia's hand, and she tightened her grip on it, unable to hide the disgust that was on her face. She said nothing, she was just seated there, static, except from the movement of her eyes, which was at intervals, but finally, she let out a sigh, handing the phone back to Calvin who had a concerned look on his face, almost disappointed. Barely a second after she passed the phone back to Calvin, she let out a sigh, picking up her phone, and she unlocked it, staring at the lots of them.“It's about Mr. Belmont,” she spoke, breaking the silence that had filled the atmosphere for almost ten minutes. “So what do I have to do with it?” Calvin pressed his lips into a thin line, gently dropping his phone on the table. “I don't think it has something to do with you, but then, people think about things differently, and trust me, one person's comment can twist the brain of others.” “Only the dumb ones Calvin,” she reminded, her voice calm even when the news was worth an

“Tried calling you, but it was not going through,” Jake's voice echoed in the office, almost hoarse. “Was there any problem?” Damon let out a sigh as he walked out of Mr. Isaac's office, shutting the door gently. “No, it's just that I was busy with something.” He was just coming out of the office about two hours after he stepped in and his face said it all— he was really stressed. “Did you see the news?” Jake demanded, pacing around the room, from the way he spoke, it was obvious that he was restless, maybe guilty minded, but without a doubt, he seemed shocked about it. “About him.” For a fleeting moment, Damon halted in his tracks, tracing his finger along the wall. “Y- yeah, I think I saw it.” “About him trying to play both women, or is there another one?” Damon inquired, walking away from that spot as he could feel eyes boring into him. “I don't know, as you know, I believe in facts. I mean, raw facts, reasons to believe.” “Then I guess the photo I'm about to send to you w

“Hey,” Seraphina greeted, just as Orion walked into the room, dropping his briefcase in its actual position. “Good evening.” Orion paused in what he was doing, nodding gently. “Yeah, good evening, your day?” Seraphina just shrugged, tilting her head slightly. “Well, maybe I spent it thinking if I was worth living or I'm just existing for a reason that even I myself don't know.” “Whatever thing you wanna discuss, trust me, we can talk about it at dinner,” Orion's gaze was fixed on his wristwatch all along as he slowly took it off, adding it to the large collections that he had. “It's not a big deal, but then, maybe all I need to do is you know… get some rest, cause yes, I had a really stressful day.”Seraphina folded her arms above her chest, rolling her eyes. “Too busy with work that you forgot to buy the pizza?” “Or maybe you were just busy with something else,” she added, making it known that there was something she was willing to talk about. Orion knew what she was trying to s

As they say, news seems to spread like wildfire, the same thing associated with the death of key figures, and even people who are not– they are similar, and it's not something debatable. Damon could not take his eyes off his phone, following the news he saw, but then, he ignored it, coming to accept the fact that a lot of people say things like that, just so they could gain media attention. “Funny,” his voice echoed in the toilet, and he flushed, walking out and he shut the door gently, but then, he came to a halt after setting his eyes on something similar to that, barely after strolling twice, and he narrowed his gaze on the phone, shaking his head. He was in the hallway of the hospital already, walking like he had been programmed already, just in a straight line.“I guess Mr. Belmont is at it again,” the voice of a female pulled him out of his thoughts, and he swallowed hard, turning to them against his will. “Did he really think that is a funny thing to do,” it was the second
