Chapter Twenty three.
"Catch. Nash." Sandra crashed to the floor, tossing the gem over to Nash.
To her dismay, instead of catching it, he moved to the side. The gem landing on the hard ground with a 'clingk.'
The creature appeared by it's side in seconds. A loud noise which sounded like a chuckle filled the air.
'IZZ...FOUNDZZ....MRZZ...ERDDZ.'
"I found my eyes.' Sandra slowly repeated the words. The realisation downing on her.
Shit.
Fuck...fuck...fuck.
Sandra watched in horror as the creature slowly picked up the gem. Fitting it into it's left eyes.
"The entrance–its open." Nash yelled excitedly. Making a run for his life.
Sandra was about to do the same when a thought hit her.

Luna's hold on the chair weakened until her arms dropped to the ground like jelly. Salvador knocked out form dripping next to her. The chair tumbling upside by his unconscious action, she saw something odd before her vision finally dulled out. Something was scribbled under the chair. ____________________________________ When the group woke up it was the same as before. They were in front of the village. The only difference was that the pain was two times worst than the day before. And they laid awake for more that ten minutes before they were finally able to move. "So we go in again?" Wei glanced at the village sign, shuddering at the thought. Going through the first night was one thing. But going through two consecutive nights of dying in a fire was a little less than traumatic.

Luna's heart dipped when her eyes caught the mark on the door.Just one.Their last chance.They all sat down, all in their head. And when the night came they were more than prepared."Ladies first." Wei paved way for her.She flung her wrist in a bratish manner before walking into the house."The ten minutes starts now." Salvador breathed out.For the first seconds they all stood, just staring. Until it hit them.They needed the key.Wei didn't bother with the door this time, searching around for the key that held their fate.Luna searched through the clothes that were hanged by the window. Fingers going in and out of every hole in the fabric. Pockets and tears alike.Salvador just observered, while Jeff took the kitchen.

Luna didn't wait to hear the second knock before she burst through the door.Eyes frantically scanning the fire that had almost taken all over the house."Jeff." The small group huddled together when night came. The boys on the outside while Luna was squashed in the middle.The closeness offering both the warmth and closeness she needed at the moment.Her heart skipping two beats when her ears caught the first howl. Sandra made sure they were gone for sure before quietly climbing down the tree.Her form turned stiff when her ears caught a rasped breath.
