Chapter 15 - Taking Lauren Home
"Right? Alex, I'm so glad you get it...someone gets it."
Loretta didn't believe anyone else would say what she's felt for over three years now. The thing is, Loretta never said she wanted to remain alone forever, but being rushed into finding someone or bringing a partner home, wasn't something she wanted to do. She wanted to take her time. She wanted to prepare herself mentally, maybe she looked ready physically but not mentally.
These things don't just happen. Right now, it would really be nice if she met someone that would stick with her, and wait for her to get ready.
"Of course, I get it," Alex continues "Some people are just not destined the same way. Some get married early, and some wait a while, it might seem like they never will but then, they do. And there are the ones that don't get married at all maybe because they don't want to, or maybe it just isn't right for them".
