Quickly I texted Tessa back, my mind racing in worry.

What could've happened? Tessa indeed sounded stressed.

Mara furrowed her eyebrows at her screen as she typed back a message to Tessa. "Jeez! I've just be gone for a few days! Don't tell me Alexander is beginning to make you uncomfortable?"

I clicked the send button and waited patiently for Tessa to reply.

Without wasting time, her message came in. "On the contrary, it's not Alexander who's making me uncomfortable but Aaron,"

My eyes widened in curiosity. Aaron! Why would Aaron be making Tessa uncomfortable?

Quickly, I stopped texting and called her on video call instead.

Tessa's face popped up on the screen, she was wearing a beautiful grey bodycon dress, surely she must have gone somewhere.

"Hey girl! What has Aaron done this time?" I inquired.

Her face twitched as her eyes crinkled at me. "I think the question should be, what has he not done?" she retorted with a sigh.
