Chapter 10
Iris was making breakfast early in the morning. Her mind was occupied and thoughts filled with the kiss she shared with Eris. She blushed and accidentally spilled the hot water on her hand. Cursing loudly and immediately cooled her burnt hand with water. Eris arrived still a bit sleepy but it disappeared as soon as he heard a voice masked with pain.
"What happened? You're so clumsy be careful next time, Iris." Taking her hand his warm mouth covered over the burn area. The magical healing powers of werewolf saliva eased down the throbbing pain.
"W-What are you doing? I didn't ask you to heal my burn." She was mortified by his actions. Eris tightened his hold on her wrist and she couldn't pull it away. The sensation giving weird signals to her body, he's enjoying this. The servants and commanders walked in on them. Iris immediately pulled her hand away there was an awkward atmosphere in the kitchen.
