Chapter Twenty Four: What is it Like to be Accused of Murder

Deaths can change the way we see everything, because it is the grief that tears everything down about us. Our losses rearrange our world and the pain transports us to an entirely different universe and to an entirely different thinking.

The old Chevalier was lying on the carpeted floor, with his eyes and mouth open, lifeless and seemingly not breathing anymore. He was surrounded by his own pool of blood that was coming from the massive gunshot wound on his chest that looked like it was directly shot onto his heart. Dionysus never knew that he could utterly feel his world crumbling down more than ever. What devastated him more was the fact that his grandfather's face looked like he had felt such tremendous pain before actually dying on the spot.

"Grandpa. ." Dionysus' voice quivered while his hands started trembling so badly.
