Dining Hall

"This way, Young Miss," Butler Shang said, pointing at the Dinner Hall.

 

"Thank you, Butler Shang," Penelope said, and the maids got shocked, even Butler Shang got shocked. Even so, Butler bowed

 

"You’re welcome, young Miss." Butler Shang said and Penelope just nodded and went to the Dining Hall.

 

Arriving at the Dining Hall

 

Penelope saw a brown-haired, muscular man sitting next to Madam Giselle.

 

'Penelope's Father is muscular and brown-haired, based on the novel I wrote.'Penelope thought

 

"Penelope dear, how long have you been there?" Madam Giselle said to the man, Stand up and open his arm.

 

"I’ve just arrived. Oh, and Hi Father, good morning." Penelope said, then hugged the man

 

Penelope thought 'That man is Harry Constantine, the Father of Penelope Constantine and the Favorite Duke of the Emperor.'

 

"My beautiful daughter is looking like a fairy," Duke Harry said.

 

"Well, I look like my father," Penelope said, and Duke Harry chuckled.

 

"Penelope, dear! "What about me?" Madam Giselle said.

 

"Well, mother, I inherited your beautiful figure and hair," Penelope said, and Madam Giselle smirked at her husband.

 

"Well, it’s true, my dear," Madam Giselle said.

 

"Well, why don’t we eat now?" Duke Harry said.

 

"Yeah, I want to eat," Penelope said, and she sat down facing Madam Giselle.

 

 ~SILENCE~

There was an awkward silence in the dining room, but Madam Giselle chose to break it.

 

Penelope was confused when Madam Giselle stated, "Penelope, dear, after we eat we should go shopping so that we may choose a dress we will wear for the ball tonight, okay?"

 

Penelope said, "Ball?" with an adorable dog-like slant of the head, which caused the butler, the maid, and her parents to blush at her cuteness.

 

"Kyahh!! My daughter is so cute, "Madam Giselle exclaimed as she approached Penelope and kissed her on the face.

 

"Mwmother, you haven't twolk abowt the bwoll yet," Penelope exclaimed as her mother continued to pinch her cheeks out of adoration.

 

"Honey, stop! "Duke Harry exclaimed, and Madam Giselle sat back down.

 

"Meh, admit it honey, admit that you also like to pinch or hug Penelope," Madam Giselle teased.Harry blushes

 

"W-what do you mean by that, of course not?" Duke Harry said, and Madam Giselle just smirked.

 

"Okay, if you say so," Madam Giselle said, continuing to eat.

 

After Eating 

 

After finishing his meal, Duke Harry departs because the Emperor is seeking for him and there is an important situation.

Penelope is currently changing while Madam Giselle changed into new clothing after telling her to do so because they are traveling to the capital to shop for the attire to be worn tonight

In the Changing Room

 

Penelope's clothing is being looked after by Mia right now.

Penelope remarked, "Mia, why did the other maids and butler shang get shocked when I said thanks?" Mia turned to face her.

Mia retorted, "Because you are rude to them and you always get furious at them when they make a mistake."

Penelope asked worriedly, "Is that also the same as how I treat you and my parents?" Mia only shook her head.

Penelope breathed a sigh of relief as Mia grinned and added, "You treat us better than they do, young miss."

"Was I truly that harsh in the past?" Penelope questioned

Mia remarked, "Just a little bit, young miss," and Penelope just made a pouting expression.

Penelope's pouty expression made Mia chuckle, but apart from that she just started working.

After Changing

Currently, Penelope and Madam Giselle are traveling in the carriage toward the capital.

Penelope asked her mother, "Mother, what ball are we going to attend to tonight?" since she was interrupted in the dinner hall before she could finish her sentence.

"Darling, you forgot!" Madam Giselle exclaimed, to which Penelope simply nodded.

Penelope was told by Madam Giselle that the occasion was a celebration of our kingdom's victory in a war and friendship between Northern dessert and Hail kindom.
