Elena’s POV

Elena was trying to persuade Aslan to do otherwise but he wasn’t listening.

“I don’t want a million dollar dress.” She protested for the nth time

“But I want you to have the best.”

“Aslan, that designer will cost me my life as the fees for entering his boutique.”

“He is my friend.”

“I am not going there.”

“I won’t let you buy a dress from any other place.”

“Then I will get married in a burlap sack.” She crossed her arms and slumped down on the sofa.

“Urggghhhhh.” He did the same beside her.

“Fine, I give in.”

She smiled up at him. “But I have a condition.” He added.

“No.” She knew it will be something she won’t be able to put up to.

“Yes. I came halfway and now it’s your turn. I will come with you to choose your dress.”

“No, it’s bad luck.”

“Baby, I write my own luck.”

“There is a reason such an old tradition is followed. You can’t see the dress before the wedding day.”

“I just want to check how it will go with my tux.”
