It could have accommodated more than fifty orphanages like Hewyard."What have I landed myself into",Zane heard Scarlett whisper as she stared at the palace with a flabbergasted expression on her face.They were being led inside the palace by the guards who were heavily armed . Laurel was just about to open the door when Zane knocked. Everyone was going upstairs, back to their rooms. They were full , especially Zane who had overeaten just so he could avoid being questioned by Kendra. But she didn't give Zane a free pass. She questioned everybody about their identity, Zane, Natalie and Laurel had to lie and Mick partly lied. And Zane thought Scarlett was the one who was most relaxed because she wouldn't have to reveal her powers or any such thing. But instead, Scarlett was the one most agitated among them. She was scared, although she tried very hard to hide it. She was scared that any moments the queen could order her guards to execute her. Zane opened his door to go out and see the kingdom a little bit. He saw Scarlett being escorted, by a handsome guy, downstairs. Zane thought he saw something in the corridor. When he turned around, it was gone. He grew suspicious but he didn't trust himself for he was tired. He had not rested the whole night and thought he was probably hallucinating.But then he saw a door open in the far end of the corridor but as soon as he tried to focus inside, the door closed.
