AFTER 6 YEARS　　As I walked my way towards the table he’s sitting, he was there waiting. He was meeting me at my favorite little café to grab a coffee after my work in the office.　　“Hi babe, sorry for making you wait.” I smiled at him as I approached the table he was sitting.　　“It’s okay babe, how’s work?” Josh kissed me on the cheek and pulled a chair for me to sit.　　“Mr. Yoon is still confined in the hospital. I don’t know what will happen to our company if he’ll be gone.” I’ve been Mr. Yoon’s personal assistant for more than a year now and I took care of everything for him. He got into a car accident last weekend and he was on life support.　　“Okay, let’s just hope he’ll be fine.” Josh told me as he took a sip on his coffee. And then he abruptly stopped, “Wait, isn’t it that Yoon was Jeonghan’s last name?&rdqu

I walked inside the house and I saw mom watching television in the living room. Honey probably in school right now accompanied by grandma. “Hey mom!” I leaned over and kiss her on the cheek and sit beside her.“Yoo- mi? Aren’t you supposed to be working right now?” she asked.“Mom, I just quit from my job.”“What?”“I’m so sorry, I’ll just get another job or I’ll ask Josh to hire me in his company. He has been asking me to work with him and I think this is the right time.” I said as I walked to the kitchen to grab something to drink.“Wait, wait! I don’t understand. Why did you quit in the first place? I thought you love your work with Mr. Yoon?” mom said as she followed me.I poured an orange juice in the glass and drink before I speak. “Mr. Yoon has been in the hospital for 3 days now. And he assigned someone to take over the company

As I entered 17 GLOBAL and Industries building, Jay greeted me and I gave him a warm smile. “ Good morning Miss Kim.”　　“Hi Jay, Is Mr. Yoon already arrived?” I asked him. “He didn’t go home last night, and his fiancée arrived this morning.” He said making me stopped from entering the elevator. “Fiancee?” I turned around and asked him again to make sure that I heard him right. “Yes Miss Kim. She’s very sexy and—“ “Okay, okay! I got it. Thank you Jay.” I left him and hurriedly got to the already crowded elevator squeezing myself inside. 　　I walked to my table and was about to put down my bag when I heard someone moaning like a wounded animal. I stopped and listened to the sound and it was like coming from Jeonghan’s office. 　　I moved closer to his door’s office, putting my ear against the door, when it suddenly snapped open. 　　Shit! My gaze froze on a girl on top of Jeonghan eating his lips. She was half naked and her bre

I was shocked when Brittany suddenly walked closer to me and grabbed my hair, dragged me causing me to fall on the floor. I held the blanket tight to cover my body.　　She is now towering me and dragged me up to face her to slap my cheek harshly. “Why are you here, you slut!” I tried to avoid her but her rage and fury made her stronger than I am.　　“Brittany stop!” Jeonghan who was clearly surprised and quickly hooks his arms around Brittany’s waist yanking her off of me. He lifted her up from my body carrying her outside of the room while she flailed her arms and legs trying to get away from Jeonghan.　　“Let me go Jeonghan! I’ll kill that bitch!” her eyes burning fire while she looks at me and Jeonghan dragged her away from the room leaving me an apologetic look.　　I greedily sucked air into my lungs and helped myself to get up from the floor. I blinked away the tears that wanted to well up and escape.

After eating dinner with my family and Josh, it was time for Honey to go to bed. We’re in her room, and I laid beside her and tucked her under the duvet.　　“Have a good rest Honey.” Josh placed a kiss on Honey’s forehead and she gave him a warm hug, wrapping her arms around his neck.　　“Thank you so much Uncle Josh. Goodnight mommy, happy birthday!” Honey smiled at me and I leaned closer and kissed her cheek.　　“Goodnight baby, I love you.” I brushed my fingers through her hair one last time before stepping away from the bed.　　When Josh and I reached the door, I turned off the light. We stepped out of Honey’s bedroom and I closed the door with a soft thud.　　“Josh, thank you so much for being here always.” I told him as we entered my bedroom.　　“Of course Yoo-Mi, you’re my very best friend and I’ll do anything to make you happy.” He pulled me close
