The guard was unaware of what transpired at the inner gate and suggested, “I propose that you go back to the gate and request to speak with the President.”“Or the General Manager,” another guard chipped in.The smile on his face disappeared immediately. Seeing the President was out of his ideas especially when the Major had said that he could be an accomplice of Gen. Hanklin. Besides, he just left the General Manager. He concluded that the young soldiers wished to harsh his mellow and forwent his car.“Have a nice day,” he simply said and walked away. The first guard pouted while their leader giggled as they watched him walk away in despondency.“What did he come to the complex to do in the first place?” A soldier asked his colleagues.“Who knows?”On the Road“I suggest that we visit Ambrose, Boss. It is unclear to me why his recovery is slow,” Richard proposed.“It is all right. How was he the last time you visited him?”“There was no remarkable improvement. He was just there.”“I

Richard took them to the Dome where the contractors were waiting for them. Indeed, Samuel's birthday changed their destinies. They only saw the Dome on television before the war. Thereafter, they had no television or the means of seeing it.“Wow!” They exclaimed when they got out of the car.“Do you like the place?” Richard asked them.“Yes, Major,” they responded with glee. They met the contractors and read the terms and conditions of the contract and the two soldiers interpreted it to them where there was ambiguity. At last, one person declined and only Fabian and one person signed the contract.“What is your name?” Richard asked the one who declined after he drove off.“My name is Tyler, Major.”“That is good. Why did you decline the contract?”“From the conditions, I won't have my privacy. My movement will be restricted. I don't like such a lifestyle,” he answered.“That is a wise decision. Fabian and co, do you understand that your privacy will be tampered with as a celebrity?”“

A few kilometers away from the hospital, the ambulance screeched and stopped suddenly and the impact almost threw Ambrose off the bed. Tim was affected, too, too, but he was more interested in saving the patient. “Oh!” He screamed and supported him with his two hands. He tried to ensure that he did not fall by pushing him slightly back to the bed. In his haste, many things happened at the same time. His cross bag had hit him severally but he was not bothered.Meanwhile, Ambrose was startled and tried to support himself. He grabbed his bag and Tim was scared. He observed him and noticed that his eyes were open.“Driver, be patient with me and I will pay everything I owe you before the week runs out,” he rambled.“Who are you talking to, Ambrose?” Tim asked him and he was shocked to hear his voice. He looked intently at Tim, but instead of looking back, he knocked on the window to alert the driver, who was trying to restart the vehicle. As an Emergency Medical Technician, he had heard

“Gerald, I am not proud …”“Eat your food,” he yelled at him and concentrated on the television. He broke down instantly and pleaded, “Kindly, hear me out, please. I know I goofed.”“Eat your food first, Ambrose. We will talk about it later,” Richard pacified him.He dried his tears with the back of his hand and sniffed, “Okay.”Michael was crestfallen but he assisted him to open the dishes before he began to eat his own. He was eating silently while Tim ogled at him to ensure that he was eating. Despite the heaviness of his heart, he ate the much that could sustain him.“I'm through,” he said and pushed his plate aside.“Thank you for the meal,” he looked at the two and appreciated them.“You are welcome,” Richard responded while Tim mumbled his response.Michael rounded up his meal immediately and appreciated them as well.“We can leave whenever you are ready,” Tim announced and got up.They got up, too, and Tim said, “Let me inform the doctor,” he said and walked out. They followed

At Mount OliveThe bigamy suit had begun, and all odds seemed against Cecilia and the fake Duke because Tim only presented the picture of the demolished house and alleged that she dumped her husband in the hospital and married the fake Duke. The suit came up a few days after the duke was released at the police station, and he was distraught.Everyone, including Cecilia, was not aware of how the corpse of the original Duke left the palace, but they could not state that as their defense. Rather, she admitted that she dumped him in the hospital but denied marrying the fake Duke.“Why can't anything good come out of Cecilia?” He asked himself in utter hopelessness and began to beat her. Incidentally, her witchcraft was unable to save her.The day they appeared in the court, the two were better described as dead. They were so Ill, and as planned, the old man did not appear because he was critically ill but his lawyer did a good job.Presently, the fake Duke's hope was the new palace. He co
