All Chapters of Luna Overnight; From Human To Luna: Chapter 41 - Chapter 50

Alpha Chester's POV Finding Icelyn had awaken a much more feral part to me. I never knew I could experience so much rage and uncontrollable power until she came into the picture. I would do anything to protect my Luna. I would destroy packs, wage war against the mighty and pull down cities for her. I didn't care about the Archetypal Clan. One of their Alphas attacked my mate. Of I had been even a second late, Icelyn would have been hurt or worse, kidnapped and whisked away to their den of perverts. She would have been tortured, torn open for their entertainment. “Fuck!” I growled and banged my fist on the table. Icelyn jerked in fear. “Raven, you're… your eyes… smoke…”I looked up at her and instantly calmed. “I’m sorry. I just got angry.”“At me?”Her voice was so timid. My gaze softened on her and I took her hand. “Never at you. At the Archetypal Clan. If they so much as look your way with curious eyes I'll let them realize how awful their eyes taste on their own tongue.”She

Sleep was creeping up on me but I didn't want to sleep, I wanted to train. So I forced myself and my pain to my feet and walked out of my door. There was a certain passageway that a lot of weapons hung decoratively on the wall. I had passed there a couple of times and had been intrigued by it. I didn't have the courage to ask if he wouldn't mind training me with a sword but right now, the only thing on my mind was to wield one. Wasn't there a time Raven had said he'd train me on how to use a sword? I couldn't remember. I was too pissed at him those days to keep anything he said to memory. The passageway was dark, as if the keeper had forgotten to light the torches. I walked in nevertheless, trusting my eyes to get used to the dark. This side of the fortress was extremely cold and I was shivering just a few steps in. My eyes did get used to the darkness and I could see the weapons on the wall. I approached them and stood still, looking over the harsh metals. The lights sudde

Alpha Chester's POV Staring at their faces, I recalled the last time I was in here. That afternoon, I had been in such a hurry to go see my mate. I couldn't reject their call because they were the Assembly of Commissioners. They all frowned at me, though their faces had never been friendly before. The face of the one commissioner who seemed like it was throwing invisible daggers at me was Commissioner Arya. One of the only two female Commissioners. Arya hated me. Deeply. She despised my entire being and never let go of an opportunity to show how deep that loathing ran. I never really minded her view of me. I was worthy of all of that hate and she had every right to loathe me. I stepped into the seat box accorded to the Alpha and sat. “Is there a reason this meeting couldn't be adjourned?” I asked, because I had tried to adjourn it to the following day. A dullfaced Commissioner who I always had some trouble recalling his name cleared his throat. “The entire Assembly

Reese’s POV I had a pounding headache and I blamed that heavily on the fight that broke out an hour ago. Everytime I ordered new barrels, a fight miraculously broke out. At this rate, I would be getting metallic barrels only. They'd be damned if anyone complained the beer or rum tasted metallic. “Go home, old fool. Pub's closed,” I said and pulled a drunk old man off my table. He lazily opened his eyes.“You said…two four…seven service,” he muttered incoherently. I dragged him out and pushed him down the rickety porch. “That was twenty years ago,” I spat out then banged my door close. I shut my eyes against the throbbing in my head before finding my way to the bar. Painkillers. I needed some badly. But before then, I had to balance the accounts for today. The door of the pub opened again and there was a staggered scurrying of feet against the floor. “I said we're closed!” I growled and the person stopped. I sniffed the air and looked up immediately. This wasn't the smell of a b

Reese's POV It felt weird going through the gate after all these years. The security had changed from those there twenty years ago, naturally of course. New blood needed jobs, right? “Your identification,” a man's voice demanded through the intercom. I pulled out my pack ID and inserted it into the card slot. It went in and seconds later, three uniformed men marched out at me. “Step out of the car,” the one in front ordered and I calmly stepped out. “Turn around and lift your arms into the air.”I respectfully did as he ordered. He searched me, used some beeping machines to scan me and even sniffed me. “Turn around. Do you have an appointment? What is a man like you doing here at the pack house?” I frowned. “A man like me?” I asked. The man sized me up and down. “That’s right. A man like you.”I narrowed my eyes at him. What ID did I shove in there? I had numerous IDs for… different reasons. I wasn't sure which I put in there. “May I have my ID back?” I asked and stretched o
