  FREYA. I couldn’t stop running. The wind tore at my skin as I shifted, bones snapping and reforming, the familiar pains and aches of shifting took over. But I didn’t stop, not even a second to breathe. My wolf form surged forward, paws pounding the earth with pain and desperation.   FREYA. I woke up to the familiar sound of fire burning and soup. I opened my eyes to the familiar hut where Morgan had laid me the first time she found me. My body had been bandaged with some leaves but she was not inside the hut.  Gently, I stood up and went outside. I found her, old but still magnificent in her way. She was sitting by a little fire she had made and a pot she hung up above it. She stirred whoever was inside the pot and it smelled nice.  “Morgan,” I said. Her staring hand stopped.
