Killian POVUnlike every usual day, the war room was colder and perhaps it was because of the tension in the air.The presence of Lucian made everywhere tensed. The moment Aria and I walked into the court room, our eyes matched and he held a smile on his face.Lucian was wearing a black and red cloak and it symbolize the colors of Crimson Pack. Perhaps he didn't come with anything threatening like I had thought after all. "Lucian." I said with a sharp voice to him. "You have got the audacity to walk into my pack after everything you did in the past?" He lowered his head this time. "Killian, I didn't come to get you angry. I came to make every thing right between us. All I ask is to be given the audience to speak." He said calmly."Make things right? You betrayed your own people. You supported Seraphina and getting into bed with her. What did you call it....." I said racking my brain for the exact word he had used."Strategy. A strategy with a bloody witch!" I cursed out loud.Aria

Aria POVAt first I thought the garden was empty until I found Audrey sitting close to the stream still wearing her night wears.I sighed and walked over to her side and sit down. We said nothing to each other but just stared at the stream."I was going to tell you Aria." She said with a soft but broken voice."Are you sure Killian did it?" I asked calmly."I can never lie to you Aria. We have come a long way together. I will not ruin my friendship because of some petty lies." She said."You have to understand the seriousness of what you are saying. I love Killian damn too much and with a child there will be serious trouble." I said to her."And then there is Dawson, who will fight tooth and nail to make sure that he acts irrational about the situation." I added.Audrey turned around to face me, holding my hand after wiping off tears. "You are my best friend. We are not going to do anything possiblle to ruin our friendship." "What do you want me to do?" I asked."A secret. We need to

Jaxon POVOur feet charged on the ground with so much intensity as we moved in groups down to the pack boarders.Beside me was Damon and Aria, who surprisingly I did not expect to come along but what more can I say?She is a great hybrid wolf after all. When we arrived at the pack boarders, there were several soldiers blocking the path of Rudolph and the commotion was getting very tensed."What are you doing in my pack?" Rudolph questioned in anger staring me. The rest of the group had changed into their human form, but I chose my wolf to remain backwards."No one appointed you as the leader of this pack. The people never approved." Aria replied with anger in her eyes."Hold your mate Jaxon or I am going to drive my spear down her forehead and watch her bleed to death." He warned. My wolf growled loudly as the words came out of his mouth and I stepped forward. The soldiers cleared all path way.Rudolph and I were only inches away from each other. "If this is because I killed your bl

Killian Pov “This is a big disgrace to Nightshade Pack.” One of the council member uttered. “Alpha, we have come a long way with your bloodline and we are slowly loosing our patience.” He added.“Alpha, we cannot have Mammon with us. He hasn’t spent three full moons and we have already witnessed serious troubles.”My mind is completely zoned out, even though my ears picked up every words they were saying. Mammon might be right after all, these people seem to have start showing their true color.“Mammon helped us kill the human hunter’s leaders. He has earned the right to sit at the council.” I voiced out.“I don’t seem to understand you any longer son. You have completely changed from what you used to be.” “Enough of all these mother!” I said rolling my eyes in her direction. “Mammon is the king of rogues and surprisingly he has acted more in the interest of the pack these past few weeks, more than any of you!” My voice echoed throughout the chamber.Mammon rose to his feet. Clearin

Lucian POVI looked down from the window of my mansion as the Convoy drives Allaria out of the premises then I walked out of the room with my Staff.Everything was going according to my plan and now I am going to make sure he pays for everything. I then walked down to the dungeon, which wasn't far away from the main pack. The Rogues all howled in anger as I walked into the room. I pulled out the purse in my pocket and dropped it on the floor."Inside there is gold. The first to kill will earn it.""What do you want us to do?" They asked in unison.I smiled and explained everything they needed to know and also handed them the scent of the convoy."Consider the job done." They gave their word. I then gave a sign of approval to the guard and the dungeon was opened and immediately they all rushed out of the cage, while I watched in delight. Seraphina had gone off to the Pack house to take directives of everything happening while I went back to my study room to read a book then a call ca
