Seraphina PovThe evening was cold in the pack forest. The soldiers had all gone to find a place to sleep. The moon begins to shine bright than it already is.Instinctively I got up to my feet, holding my staff after sensing a presence. The moon became very bright, making it uncomfortable for me to see."You have crossed the wrong path Seraphina!" The voice hit me like a gush of wind. "Who are you?" I asked. She was flawless in her white gown and her long white hair gave her a Celestial appeal. "The one who created you." Moon Goddess."What do you want from me." I demanded, holding out my staff."The prophecy has revealed the things that will happen to you. As we stand here, your downfall is close by and nothing can stop it." She said."You must think I am some sort of weak wolf. I am a hybrid wolf." I yelled bravely at her.She smiled and pulled out a magical wand. "You will be sent to correct the mistakes your blood line did."I was going to summon my magical bird when my legs g

Aria Pov That had grabbed my attention. To some extent, I hoped he was knocking on the door to grovel outside and beg for me to open up and listen to him. A small delusional part of me had wanted him to sit outside the door all night but I was being foolish. This was way more important. I hope it wasn’t a way to get me to relent. However, I knew it was more serious than that though. I knew the organizers were capable of doing something like that. If I have learned anything in these games, it’s that you can’t trust anyone. The ones eliminated are also capable of doing an all out war. After all, there were high emotions after the first games, wounded egos and with the shock of the eliminations too, anyone would be incensed. Taking a deep breath, I open the door. I didn’t want to see Killian right now but we had more serious issues that were bigger than us. We needed each other now, and I’m hoping that this time, he wouldn’t leave me to fend for myself alone. I fold my arms across my

Aria PovAt this rate, I have to be the queen of awkwardness. Why didn’t I think to check if he was in there? It feels like I’m going stir crazy. Besides, did I just mistakenly walk into his bathroom? What is wrong with me today? We didn’t designate the bathrooms but it became routine. I took the one in the room and he used the other one. It didn’t help that I was also only clad in a towel. It was better though cause typically, I thought I was alone and normally I would walk around in nothing. Killian just continues washing his body. I reach for the door blindly looking for the door knob. “Sorry. I didn’t know you were in here. I don’t even know what’s wrong with me today.” I tell him, nervously still looking for the door knob. Where was it when you needed it? I finally find it and twist the door open. I almost make my exit when my towel slips. Goddess. I am not in luck today. I pull it back up hastily. Killian was already laughing so hard that his face was red at this point. My face

Aria PovThere was a quiet stir of foostep before I could even open my eyes.I felt something deep within me and knew who it was.Lyra.I turned around to check on the child and noticed his small chest rising and falling with peaceful breaths. I turned my head to the door and like I had always expected, Damon and Lyra were standing over there.Something about Lyra's eyes didn't sit well with me."Another dream again?" I asked gently, getting off the bed.She shook her head and I noticed her feets we're trembling.Beside me, Killian stired and his eyes flew open. He got up from the bed and pulled on his royal robe and joined us as we moved to the court room.Lyra tried to speak but her voice was barely steady."I saw a creature. It had black eyes. It also had a trench coat." She said with fear in her voice. From the way she described the picture of the creature, even I felt a goosebumo creeping underneath my skin.I listened to everything she was saying and not once did I interrupted

Seraphina POV"And that is how I ended up being in this dilemma." He said. After we had greet the guest, we moved to the counter and he was narrating his experience with his ex wife.I couldn't help but feel pity for him. He did not deserve such a cruel and heartless woman. Someone coughed behind me and I turned around startled by Mike's face. "Surprise you will make it. Considering you had wifey issues." He said with a smile on his face."Watch your tongue." Lucian warned. They were obviously not good siblings and it is obvious from the past two conversations that they had together."Well Mr. Wallace is here to see you." He said, walking over to Lucian's side. "He has an offer for you but there are terms and conditions you have to meet." He added.I watched the both of them looking at each other with raw intensity in their eyes.Lucian said no words but got out of his sit. "I hope you don't end up talking trash to my woman." He warned before leaving.I watched him move over to a gr
