บททั้งหมดของ Bound To My Mate's Step Brother : บทที่ 11 - บทที่ 20

~NYRA~"The full moon would appear today and the rites would begin at dawn," someone said in a hushed tone. My ears perked up, eager to know what the rites were about.Judging from their scent, they were not werewolves and their smelling ability was little to nothing. Unless I make a sound, they won't know I am here.Pulling my legs up, I tiptoed to a spot nearby, using the stone pillar as my shield."Yes, it's going to be bloody tonight. Alpha would be at his peak," her companion responded. My brows knitted together as I leaned closer."This night might be the last for the outsider. She will not make it through the Alpha's wrath," the first lady said, shaking her head vigorously in a pitiful manner. No doubt who she was talking about… I was the only outsider in these four walls. Clenching my fist at the side, my veins thickened at the thought.Knowing death was close by is a thing every creature dreaded. Nobody wants to die… not even me. I won't even accept a handshake from Hades whe

~MIKAEL~"She took the bait!" O'Lean reported. I glanced at the full moon and nodded my head."Alright, you can leave!" I dismissed, motioning with my fingers. O'Lean bowed his head and left the room without a single word. The thud of his boot echoed followed by the sharp click of the door closing.Swirling, I pulled away from the wall I was leaning on. My eyes glinting with so much amusement as I stared outside the walls of my castle. The game was about to begin and I really can't wait to see what foreign expression would be on her face.I could feel my pulse thickening with excitement, my wolf wishing to be let out instead, I ignored the pull of my wolf and climbed to the windows of my study room.Black patterns appeared, tracing down my veins all over my body till my gaze darkened. Sharp black claws elongating, my brows pinched together with my vision sharpening and I could see the vast lands away from my pack.Seeing my target beside the cave, I jumped out of the window. The wind

~NYRA~"Of course, you said it was going to be fair," I retorted sharply, glaring daggers at him. I could feel his fingers poking me at the side."I waited for an hour!" The lie slipped out from his lips as if it were normal."Liar! You cheated… you used your wings!" I snapped, still annoyed he had to use that method."That wasn't part of the deal. If I could recall accurately, you were given a head start for an hour, it isn't my fault you were too sluggish," he whispered softly. As much as I hate to admit, he was right. However, I wasn't going to let him have it!I hit him on the chest hard… wrong decision because he was as hard as stone and I took the brunt of the pain. I squeezed my face in rage and frustration as I tried to free myself from his hold."You… You are a crazy creature! Let me go!" I screamed at him.Mikael was no ordinary wolf. He was different, yes, I know. But wings? That is ridiculous! He wasn't a falcon, so that brings me to the assumption that he truly was a demo

~NYRA~A groan elicited from my lips, throbbing headache rushing with full force. I rolled over to the other side of the bed as I tried to suppress the pain. Taking a couple of breaths before I reached for the water that was usually at the side of the bed.Grabbing the jar, I poured the content on my head, wetting the floor, then proceeded to drink the remaining content. Once I had settled, I sat upright, my wet hair slapped against my face. I felt so much better, my breathing now moderate.I gently massaged the side of my head as I tried to remember what had happened last night. The memories were hazy at first, Mikael's amber eyes flashed and my heart quickened. My jaw dropped, my eyes widened in shock as I scooted to the edge of the bed. My head turned to check if I was hallucinating or not, the familiar dark brown curtains, marble floors and walls, those scented candles that smelled like the Red Falcon Pack.'Did I leave the pack or was I dreaming about wanting to leave the pack?'

~NYRA~I carried the wooden bucket, preparing to go to the stream she'd asked me to fetch water from. My legs were wobbly and I hadn't even reached half of the path that led to the stream. My fingers trembled at every movement, the bucket was slipping from my hands, yet I held onto it tighter. As I walked past the people living in the castle, they all stared at me. Pointing their fingers, calling me names I don't even know the meaning of.At last, I reached the stream. I dropped the bucket by my side as I sat down on the floor, the sack cloth given to me had been dirty when I was cleaning the library. I still haven't finished cleaning it yet, but one of the maids asked me to go fetch the water first.Wind swept across my face, and the trees acted as a shade for me making it refreshing to stay outside. The stream flowed coolly and I watched as the butterflies played around the surroundings.I leaned forward when I saw tiny creatures that could be mistaken for butterflies, only that the
