VIENNE POVI sat rigidly on my seat.Heart racing.Class empty. And obviously not in the mood for any lunch. No one in their sane mind and in my situation would have an appetite to eat. I let out another big exhale as a plan begins to form in my head already. If eventually this goes south, I wouldn't go down alone; Amelia would have a taste of the burn. I might not be able to prove it but she definitely has a hand in this whole mess.I threw a gaze at my phone on the table without touching it. The device was blowing up again and I wondered what could have triggered the students of Minerva's high on the group again. The notification was going on non-stop and I was tempted to check the group. But I won't, now is not the time to do that. The class door opened and a girl walked in with her head down. Julia? Judith?Something like that. She made some awkward eye contact with me before looking away, uncomfortably rubbing her arm and walking to her seat. It was subtle but I wouldn't miss the

VIENNE'S POV The school was over. I took my time, walking down the stairs at the school's entrance in relief and unrestrained pride. My cellphone in my hand as I scrolled through the school's group; it was still blowing up with flagger blasted students triggered by Janet's earlier confession. From the corner of my eye, I could see Alex standing, his hands in his pocket as he…waited? I don't know, but I gritted my teeth in annoyance looking and moving away.My lips twitched at the turnout of things and Mrs Ray's frustration at what she has to deal with concerning her class' students lately. I'm grateful though.“I'm beginning to think you're intentionally avoiding me.” A voice sneered behind me and I didn't even need to turn around; I've grown to recognize Grace's voice. I rolled my eyes, turning to look at her while crossing my arms across my chest.“I should be the one asking you something like that. Tch. I've not been seeing you around. Are you skipping school now?” I accused sourl

46VIENNE'S POVSchool was over.I alighted from my car while the driver drove off to the garage. With a smile on my face and a piece of clothing in my hand, I paused at the entrance of my home as a memory from a while ago flashed through me.FLASHBACK:It was lunch, but I wasn't going to the cafeteria. I had stuffs to complete and I'm not taking chances. Grumbling, I rummaged through my locker for the textbooks I needed; I was supposed to be enjoying a sumptuous meal for lunch right now, but here I was.A few steps from me, someone else closed their locker shut and I looked up, slightly sneering at Damon's figure before looking away. Of course, he'd seen me.‘Getting off??’Call me petty, but I had minded my business through out the classes, blatantly ignoring him. For now. Because that doesn't mean I won't get back at him. In my book, everyone has their own measurement of punishment.“What do you want, Calloway?” I grumbled out at him, still searching through my locker once I notice

Third person POV “You look like you're going to her office, you can just ask her.” Ryan scoffed as the words replayed in his head, in Vienne’s bland tone. He paused at the entrance of his home while the white SUV he'd alighted from drove off to the garage. Why did her tone sound like his presence had irked her earlier? That wasn't the first time too as he remembered how she dismissed him at the school's lobby. A mixed feeling ran through him and at that moment his phone dinged.‘Babe, you're home already? Don't forget we have a date tomorrow evening ❤️’ _ Amelia.A notification from Amelia had almost had him rolling his eyes in annoyance he couldn't even explain. Without bothering to reply he jogged up the small stairs into the house.“Hi Dad. Mom.” He acknowledged as he strolled in spotting them at the living room.“Ryan, my dear!” Mrs Knox had greeted in an unusual enthusiasm as a maid came forward to take his bag. He lightly frowned at his mom smiling and gesturing at him to com

VIENNE'S POVThe bell rang a few seconds ago, indicating the end of break.I sighed as my phone kept blowing up with notifications again. These days or recently, I've been getting excited about whatever it is riling students up on the school's forum group.I opened the notification a and look at that! Those girls had pretended they couldn't be so bothered about what they heard earlier but look who's run to the group to announce ‘Reyes asked Calloway to be +1!’‘at this point, this is beyond what I can take 😩’‘that loser's a lucky bastard’‘what? Is it me or is Reyes shamelessness limitless?’‘exactly. Boys should be the one asking.’‘First it was Knox, now it's Calloway. Disgracing herself!’‘Oh please. I want me a shameless girlfriend too😩’‘what disgrace?😂 Girl's is going for what she wants. Talk about not being hypocritical.’‘I'm looking forward to Owen's party 🔥.’I sneered. They sure do talk a lot. They don't even care if who's been gossiped about can see all they're talkin
