College is a more regular stage of life, for some the most important. At the university where I studied, there was a unique boy. Jared Ackerman was an Alpha about 24 years old, he had black hair and warm black eyes. He tried to avoid looking at me and without hesitation spoke to me.

"Someone gave me a so-called gift, and it ended up poisoning me."

"Well, let's go to a hospital, I'll help you."

"It's complicated" He told me.

We were four friends. Leandro, Jeison and Carlos. The second of them was interested in me, but he was kind of obnoxious and violent. The comment didn't sit well with anyone, but everything changed when Jared arrived. Up to where we were all gathered.

No one understood why he was talking to me. If we had never conversed in the two semesters I had been there.

I felt very uncomfortable. I thought he would tell the rest of the people what happened. I didn't know what to tell him, but he started a formal conversation.

"My dad, he needs to talk to your dad, can you give me his number? It's for a job at his company, they referenced him well."

He got the hint perfectly, and I wrote my number on his phone. However, the rest of the guys were not pleased to see a person like him approaching me. It was evident that they started to feel jealous and Jeison was about to argue with him, but Jared had already quickly written his number on my cell phone. He started walking away from there and didn't turn to look at me.

None of my three friends were silent.

"You and he know each other?"

"Yes, our parents are acquaintances."

"Mmm, I see, and do you like him?" asked Jeison.

"No, of course I don't. He's cute, though."

"If you were put to choose between him or us, who would you choose?"

"Neither. You guys are so stupid."

I felt as if they considered me part of their property and were reprimanding me for talking to him. I decided to get up from my chair. Besides, I left the food there.

Jeison was very upset about that. He felt in his mind that they were stealing his girl. That made me a little nervous. I didn't want any more trouble than I was already in, let alone with the mob. I knew he was an alpha and that's why he was like that, but I would never have anything with him.

I arrived at the art club because at that hour I was alone. Jared had texted me to invite me to talk about what had happened. I accepted, as I was still very confused about what happened.

Despite hearing that. I was so scared, I couldn't believe how my life was about to change. I was trying to calm down, but I could not. She was very affected by the situation.

I was crestfallen and very depressed. Jared took me back to the cafeteria for a drink to calm me down, but it was not possible. Even he couldn't calm down. He was scared too, he knew his parents would feel bad if they found out about it. I was still in shock, trying to drink water, but my hands were shaking. However, the atmosphere changed from one moment to the next, as Jared's friends appeared on the scene. When we saw them, we didn't know what to say to him.
