Lucia Hill was the only daughter of the Alpha and Luna of the Thunder pack, a pack that was known for its strength, compassion, and resilience. She had always wanted to help her pack in a more meaningful way but was seen as too fragile because she had a rare medical condition that affected her breathing at times. She was born with it and it was sadly incurable. This medical condition had a name too long for Lucia to pronounce, and had tried to take her life multiple times. Each time made her parents even more protective of her and made her feel more caged. Lucia had always been seen by everyone as the sick daughter of the Alpha who needed to be treated with extra care. She was even excluded from almost all physical activities, including training with people her age. This made her feel like an outcast. It chipped away at her self-confidence and courage. She knew that all this was because her parents loved her and wanted her to be safe but she wanted more. She wanted so badly not to be seen as weak or fragile. She wanted to show her pack and her parents that she was stronger than they all thought; that she was not held back by her sickness. But she feared that this was all just a dream of hers. She was very introverted and insecure so she doubted that she could ever prove them wrong.
View MoreZain Centineo leisurely collected the paper cup of hot, black coffee from Glen Cameron and emptied it on the teenage Albino lying down on the floor. The boy instantly groaned out and winced in horror, the coffee was scorching hot when it penetrated through his uniform shirt, it felt like acid on his skin.
Zain caught the shocking expression on different shades of faces that made him want to howl out with laughter. This bloody stinky Albino rat does not understand what it means to be in this school. When did he have the balls to escape detention? What the fuck is this poor fucker doing in Ravenwood High?
"I'm sorry to interrupt you Sir but haven't you had enough of this punishment? Please have mercy on him and let him go." The newcomer sitting by the window interfered in a respectful manner as everybody's eyes swung back to her. She couldn't bare to watch a real life bullying scene like this. The last time she checked, even Glen Cameron did not served his detention, so why is his fate different from that of the Albino?
Zain Centineo now turned his attentions towards the newbie who had her brown hair tied up like a bird's nest. So this newly transferred chick was not mute as the rumors say? And the first time he'd be hearing her voice was to interrupt him on judgement day?
"Glen, did I heard someone speaking? What was that ugly chick saying? No... wait a fucking minute, did she served detention?"
"Mr Donald pardoned her because she's still new" Glen quickly replied Zain.
"Hey. Come out here and get on your knees before me." Zain ordered, holding a thick cane in his left hand. A little brave heroine huh? He would teach her how to never again interrupt the disciplinary head prefect.
Sasha McAngel's five senses instantly jumped into a flight mode with a secret panic surging inside her soul. When had she become so courageous enough to interrupt the King of hedgehogs on his judgement day? Actually, it was a mistake. She's not the girl who voiced out her thoughts about five seconds ago. Jesus... today looks like its going to be another sucking day in Ravenwood High.
"Quick quick. . . Get out before I get there." Zain barked impatiently. Why is she being too sluggish now? Does she has to wet her pants before coming out or what?
Sasha McAngel swallowed buckets of saliva while she carefully guided her legs out to the spacious front row of the class and knelt down before Zain. She saw a pathetic and agonizing look on her Albino classmate who was in pain, still sobbing on the floor. Well, he should have carefully weigh the consequences of escaping detention before landing himself in such a big trouble. And now, her too. . . She could already imagine how painful the hot coffee would feel on her skin.
"Rita... Do us the honor." Zain handed over the thick cane to a mean looking girl who was standing beside him. He thought if he whips a girl himself, she'd wet her undies and faint only to cause him a headache. So Rita does the part of flogging the shit out of disrespectful chicks, and is practically perfect at that.
"Get down flat on your belly hun." Rita ordered with an obvious level of excitement in her voice. She loved her role so much especially now with this newbie whom she secretly find her somehow intimidating. Why does a poor bitch like her has to have a flawless skin? Why does she has a dimple and such a naturally slim contoured nose and a plump little lips?
Sasha nodded her head as she felt too embarrassed with all the eyes on her. She only had her mini skirt uniform, what if her skirt fly up in the process of the flogging? What if everyone ends up seeing the color of her underwear? It was not the caning that mattered to her now but rather how the process will unfold.
"P-please..."
"Uh un... Nah nah nah Hun. Don't do that here. It doesn't work with us. Hurry up lets be done with it" Rita felt even more determined to flog the shit out of this drama queen bitch trying to act like a helpless Cinderella in front of Zain.
By now, Sasha understood that nothing would save her. Zain and Rita both have this kind of determined look on their faces. Only one senior standing behind Zain looked at her with sympathy, but he obviously cannot help her. He doesn't have the guts to. She placed her palms on the floor and laid down flat on her stomach, her chubby behind now at the disposal of those heartless and mean seniors.
Before another second could clicked in, Rita landed the first lash of cane on Sasha's bum and the mini skirt flared up with the force of the whip, exposing Sasha's white cotton underwear. She felt a horrible pain and cold air tingling around her skin before everyone bursted out into a hysterical laughter.
"Did you see that?" "Yeah I did... It was white" "Embarrassing... I'd kill myself if I were her" "Poor Sasha" "Zain saw her underwear? She should just transfer" "This girl is so cute" "I hate this kinda stuff" "Why does she have to interfere on judgement day?" "I feel bad for her" "She looks like a little slut" "Things I see only in Ravenwood" "We need holy water" Sasha heard most of the bickering and murmurs echoing in her ears. Everyone has seen it, how embarrassing. Is it okay to cry? No way... Zain and Rita will feel satisfied.
Zain didn't know why he quickly took his eyes off when he accidentally saw the girl's underwear. This chick surely eats a truck of food to get those meat around there. But why didn't she wear shorts underneath her skirt? Is she that stupid? This is such an embarrassing moment. He hates this kind of awkward situations.
Rita saw a different look crossing on Zain's face but she quickly raised the cane to go for the second round. But before the cane could land on Sasha's back, a force halted it on air and Rita stiffened in shock to see Zain's hand holding the cane firmly.
"She has learned her lessons. Everyone get lost!" Zain suddenly dismissed.
That feeling was strange. He yanked the cane away from Rita's hands and looked at the girl still laying down on the ground. Should he ask her to get up? No... Bullshit. They'd think he is being soft on her. This stinky chick dares to make him feel pity? What a fucking strange outcome. He smashed his snickers onto the floor as he arrogantly walked out of the classroom.
It was already closing period and Zain Centineo was supposed to stay behind to punish all other students whose names were on the list of defectors but he postponed the judgement day to next week and left school earlier than usual.
Two months later, I was on my way to the werewolf prison. The sun was bright and yellow. The sky was blue and the wind was perfect. I wore my hair down and had the windows rolled down. The wind blew my hair back and it was actually really soothing. It felt like I was at the end of a movie, but I was far from that. My life was not over, in fact, I think it had just begun. In my past life, I was alive but barely lived. I was in constant pain and agony and when I was finally delivered from that kind of life, I was thrown into a new one that was filled with so much crap that I sometimes wished that I had not reincarnated. But now. Now, I was much much better. I was more mature. I was stronger in so many ways that I could not explain. I finally had peace and I got the revenge that I sought so badly. But I got it by letting go. I got my revenge by freeing myself from the hate, the anger, the rage, and the need to want to punch the wall over and over. I got my revenge and vindication for
The air was cold and had a sweet smell. We were still in the room that looked like a conference room. From the windows, you could see the beauty of the town. It was very magnificent. Both natural and unnatural light filled the room, so we had no light problem. “Who can corroborate your story?” General Sara asjed again. We had her full attention and I could tell that she really wanted to know if what we just told her was true. But the thing was, we were not worried, because it was indeed true. If it was not, then we would have been worried, but not when it was. “Sam, Katara, and Chad can do that. They can corroborate our story,” I explained to her. “They were there, of course. Have them questioned. They would have to tell the truth because they wouldn’t want their application to the Supreme Court Of Packs to be threatened.” “Hmm…” She mumbled in response and chewed playfully on the pen. “But if they’re not the ones you were hoping we could use as witnesses then we have one more pe
“Hands where we can see them!” One of the policemen said loudly and with authority. My heart was racing and my eyes darted almost everywhere. Then Jade tried to calm me. “Hey, hey, calm down.” “They’re about to arrest us, Jade! How do you expect me to calm down? They could literally take us back to the rogue town and who knows what Sam would do to us.” I was panicking. When the policemen closed the distance between us and them, one female patted me down and searched me while a male officer did the same to Jade. When they realized that we had nothing on us that could be a threat to them, they took their hands off us and took a few steps back. “What’s going on here?” Jade asked confidently but got no response. A black sleek car then pulled over in seconds and the door was opened by one of the officers. From in the car came down a beautiful dark-skinned lady with curly hair. Her face was void of any expression and she was dressed in some sort of military uniform that I couldn’t reco
Welcome to Greenleaf—the huge sign board read. The moment we drove into the beautiful and modern town, it was like everything got better. There was no way that Sam, his daughter, or Chad would be able to do anything to us in this town. “Wow,” My mom said at the same time that Gloria gasped. “This place reminds me of the human lands,” Gloria chuckled the words out. “Come on, mom. How do you know about how human lands look?” Jade’s voice was laced with some humor. He kept driving and from the look on his face, I could tell that he was amazed by the town too. “Son, I know a lot of things that would make your jaw drop. I once lived amongst humans. But that is a story for another time.” She smiled. “That is how I know that this town is almost a replica of how human places look.” “Well…yeah, you’re right. Humans once lived in this town; a long time ago,” I explained what I was told when I was in the town some days ago. “It’s so different, but in a beautiful and jaw-dropping way,” My m
After an hour of driving on the almost empty road, we got closer to the mansion. But before we could reach there, we passed right past Chad’s house. He was not lying about having a birthday party, I would say that. Loud music boomed from the house and so many people were still there; out in the compound partying. I could not imagine the number of people in the house. “Gosh, they’re celebrating after they tried to kill us,” Jade mumbled, then released a short sigh. He glanced at me and kept his eyes on me for a few seconds longer before asking, “Are you okay? You look like you’re in pain. Are you?” He was right. I was in pain. But I did not want him or anyone to know that. “What are talking about?” I tried to act as normal as possible, but it was not easy because pain tickled my bones with each breath that I took. “Lucia, don’t pretend. I noticed that you were in pain from the moment you freed me from that shack. I saw that you were trying to hide that fact from me so I pretended
We hid in the bushes and stayed as quiet as possible. Owls hooted and night creatures sang, but that was not what we were listening to. We had our ears open; to see whether we hear more sounds from the cabin. “I hear nothing,” Jade whispered to me. “Shhh, be quiet,” I replied to him in a breathy way. We stayed quiet and just as I expected, another sound erupted. It was the sound of the opening of the door. We ducked deeper into the bushes and waited to see who would walk out. The door swung open and there stood in a dark suit and smirk, was Sam. He ran his hands through his perfectly styled hair and wet his lips before walking down the small staircase that led to the forest ground. He placed his hands in his pockets and proceeded to walk to the back of the cabin but suddenly stopped, causing my heart to do a backflip. I reached for Jade’s hand and held it tightly in my hand. Sam started to sniff the air. It was clear that he was catching a foreign scent in the air. And that was u
